Fortunately for Trisha's husband Matt, the stone was NOT making contact with her skin at the time of the wish! The stone had shifted in her pocket away from the small hole. Trisha didn't REALLY want that, it would just be nice if the work division in their relationship was more balanced. Trisha really just wished Matt put more effort into life. Like many people these days, he seemed to be putting in the minimum effort.
This is why he never gets a full time job and also why his belly is getting a bit flabby.
It bothered Trisha she had to work so hard at life when other people just seemed to slide by. For example, after a long hard day at work not only did she get stuck behind people puttering down the freeway, she saw a young woman out late on a weeknight with nothing better to do than talk to her own groin. Trisha really doubted this woman had put in a 70 hour workweek anywhere, let alone a stressful analyst position. Must be nice to have so much free time and so few worries that THAT is on your to do list Trisha thought.
"I wish everyone had problems like that woman at the gas station." Trisha said to herself.
