Rodrick was now in town. He was ready for his child to be born. Emmanuel was with him. Surprisingly, so was Susanna. It seemed that this was going to be a big family affair. Neither of their parents were here. They probably wanted to keep this from them for now. It was their mother and father that warned them not to pursue Jake after he had left. 09872 came into town the next day on a motorcycle. The rest of Clan Pump and Dump arrived in nice van. I wondered where they got those. I know I did not buy them for the clan. I wondered if the idea for a gas station was actually a good idea. That would be good if they could make their own income. 09872 pulled Roderick to the side for a conversation. Emmanuel and Susanna held back. She leaned over to him and said "You guys never told me that he was gay!" Emmanuel scoffed and said "Cyborgs don't count." Clan Pump and Dump then went to the library. We hung back at the apartment building. They had their own place to stay, but were content to walk around with Rodrick. I decided to talk to the bodyguards. I wanted their reports.

Each of them had indeed needed to step in to protect them from attempts on their lives. All of them had at least 4 such instances. I told them that their services would not be forgotten. They were released of their current mission and allowed to relax at the new PEA lab. In the 9 weeks they had been away the clan building had been continuing. The hallways and the elevator shaft sections were torture to replace. Then there were the generator rooms. It was then that we got to the big labs. PEP, PEA and AEP labs were first. Once they got to the lab, they had their first mission under their belts. It was very impressive. After a few hours, their procedures were taken care of. They told us and we made our way over there. They brought all the offspring over to us. Hunter called his cousins back from his cell phone. He was extremely excited about this. Rodrick got to hold his first child in his arms. Both of his younger siblings were there. "Look at him, Roddy! He has your nose!" he said before gasping. "Your mother's ears too!" Susanna looked closer and smiled. "Yep. Those are hers alright."
Warmly, she pulled her hair aside. "I got them too." she explained. She then looked at 09872 and the others in the clan. Looking them all up and down she said "Fuck it. I want me some of that too." "Might as well. Everyone knows that you can't hold down a relationship with a human man." Emmanuel joked. Susanna gave the cyborgs a sweet smile before punching her brother right in the face. "Fucking bitch!" he hissed from the pain. It was mean left jab. "Mind your own business next time." she said. He just shrugged. "Doesn't make it any less true." he said under his breath. Susanna hear it and was going to respond when Rodrick pointed to them and said "That's your uncle Manny and your aunt Susie. Say hi." Both of them ended up smiling in the presence of their new nephew. It was time for the members of Clan Pump and Dump to go. They had no reason to stay any longer. Their PEA units would be raised and trained in their own clan. Rodrick, Emmanuel and Susanna were going to stay today and leave in the morning. As we were walking back, I saw a PEP unit sitting on a bench.
