None of them were top models. There was no way they could protect us on their own against the whole region worth of PEP units. All of them knew this. Paul, Brett and I had to take a while to calm them down. It was honestly a very endearing experience for us. We were the officers and they were totally concerned with our safety. It was clear that they genuinely thought of us as their own. Once we got them to settle down a bit, it was time to get serious. This is exactly what we had been waiting for. "You guys saw what was going on. We hosted 12-001 and kept him safe. We decided to show good faith by letting him go. As soon as we did, Magnetic Clan put out this giant hit on all of us. They have essentially declared a total war. It is time for us to counterattack now. We have to go." I said. I then turned to Major Watts. "We don't have much time. Our clan works in the fact that we helped the later and more shoddy models out by giving them jobs here along with human civilians. When all the real heavy hitters come to kill, they will get inside. It is inevitable. We are not joking around."
Paul snapped "We need that behind the enemy lines now." Major Watts straightened his shoulders and looked at his captains. "You said there are human civilians here?" he asked. "Yeah. This is a legitimate place of business. I know you have heard of our music. It is just the literal cover for our clan building under us." Brett said. The major rolled his eyes. "Men! We need to evacuate all of the humans from here immediately." I agreed. "Fine. Someone hit the fire alarm and have them leave. In the meantime, all of us need to go down and bring up all the guns and weapons. There is a siege coming and eventually, we will all be fighting for our lives. Either over here or by the transmission hub." I said. Everyone in Sixteenth Notes went down to the clan building. We heard the alarms going off as we got on the elevator. As the officers, we were among the last to go down. It wasn't like we were going to be doing all the heavy lifting. When we finally got down there, we saw that they were starting to get the crates from the stockpiles. I needed to give them their stuff in the labs as their engineer.
Once we had brought everything up, the AEP units were wondering what was going on. They did not believe what they had heard from Void Clan. We had to tell them all that everything was true. When the commandos came back in, we showed them the guns and gave them brief details on what they did. "I know for a fact the mayor is a real PEP unit. I helped convince him to run. He then put his favorite PEP units in the police force and other positions in town. If a cop or fireman comes near, do NOT let them in." I instructed. They were miffed that they were just getting this information now. It was too bad. "It'll be fine. We wouldn't show up with just us and no back up here. We have men all around the place keeping a perimeter." Vinny spat. Just as he said that, we heard a lot of sirens. It did not take long before several gunshots could be heard. "Fuck. They are not playing around. Who the hell is going with 12-001 to the transmission hub!? He's and AEP unit, so technically we only need 2 more to go with him. The rest of us will be protecting them from the Magnetic Clan." I asked.
