Just giving away comrades for only the opportunity for a good job was not a good look for the duo. Definitely not someone that I would want on my team. Ramon seemed to at least have the decency to realize that. I was going to do something with this information now that I had it. Using it wisely could get me much closer to my goal. "I want to see this Joe." I said. Ramon looked at me and then sighed. "Fine. We'll go see him in the morning. Do you want the address? Or do you want to crash over at our place." I got the address. There was no reason to get too close to Ramon and Mateo now. This was not where I was going to be stationed for long. I was also not going to bring them back to my clan. The brothers left and I was alone again. Half an hour later, someone offered to buy me a drink. I had a rum and coke. I wanted to know how one actually tasted. When I got it, it was about what I had expected. I was not used to alcohol because I was underage. Sometimes my mom or dad would give me a little sip of their drinks when we were at home. I did not like the taste then either.

He had bought me something, even if I did not end up liking it. I was feeling a bit generous towards him. "Are you looking for work?" I asked. He looked me up and down with appraising eyes before smiling. "Who isn't looking nowadays!?" was his coy answer. It was not a definite yes or no. He was testing me out just as much as I was him. "How do you feel about the 'borgs?" was my next question. "Eh, I don't really care about them. If they don't try anything to me, I can get by just fine with or without them." he said with a shrug of the shoulders. I nodded my head in response. "You have work you need done?" he asked. It was my time to be coy with him. "I'm getting a crew together at the moment." was all I said. He leaned closer. "Does that team of yours need a gray hat?" he asked me, more seriously this time. He was a hacker. That could come in handy actually. Hunter was a reprogrammer. It was now his job to manage our cybersecurity. He had to figure things out, but we over leveled him. He did not have problems learning quickly on the job. This guy could jump right in the role.

Plans rarely survived the enemy. I gave him the address of the gym and the time we were going to be meeting Joe. "The potential crew will be meeting tomorrow. Make sure you're in there if you want in. My name is Brianne. I'd like yours." I said, confidently extending my name for a handshake. He shook my hand firmly. That was a good sign. His name was Fabien. As good a name as any other. I then left. I might as well scope out the area I was going to meet all of these people. Ramon and Mateo both had proven themselves to not be the most trustworthy people. I had the address and wandered aimlessly until I found it. Luckily, there were a few pedestrians that I could ask for directions. By the time I got there, there were 3 PEA units there. All 3 began approaching me, so I was unsure of what was going on. "Brianne Terri. What is your business here at this gym?" The one in the middle asked me. "How do you know I have business here at all!?" I asked back. "The transmission hub has already bugged the club. We know that you are planning something here." That made some sense.
