Looking at us, he said "You honestly think that I'm going to tell my C.O. to come deal with you, don't you!?" We just looked at him. "Yeah. That's what you were sent here for." I said. Kyle rolled his eyes. "What's to stop me from saying that you guys are a hostile force and are going to cause a rebellion?" I crossed my arms. "That's easy. I am here to stop that." I said. "Who the fuck are you!?" he demanded. It was totally right for Water Clan to call me in for this. "I personally worked with Captain Nicoletta and Lt. Frederica Galleon. Both of them serve very honorably under Major Henry Watts. If you go rouge here, don't think for a moment that you'll go unnoticed." I warned them seriously. That put them on the back foot. Even though they wanted to sabotage this alliance, it was not possible without getting serious blowback. "So that's why you're here. I get it now." he spat. I shrugged my shoulders. "It's not that bad. Just tell the truth. Water Clan cleared out the coastline, has a shit ton of money and guns and is the natural enemy of those fuckers that want to enslave all humanity." I said.

Put like that, how could he possibly say no? Stubbornness was how. He glared and said "There is no way, I'm putting the lives of my men in the hands of some 'borgs!" It threw me for a loop. His hatred was palpable. "Tough shit, fucker. You want the guns? You have to make a deal. You want the oceans back!? You have to make a deal! I don't give a single shit what you feel about them. You want to actually do your job without being court martialed for treason and sabotage!? You better accept that we are all going to be allies soon!" That was that. The 3 of them left and I brought the AEP units back to their arcade. it only took 2 days for Major Rachel Saltine to come down to the arcade. She also did not want to be doing this. The strategic advantage of the partnership was too good to pass up though. Water Clan was able to get similar terms to us. The PEP units of the clan were given diplomatic immunity. In return for that, all hostile schemes against the government would officially cease in this region. I watched as they signed their contracts. Two clans had allied with their government.

Radiation Clan was next. Because things had gone so well, I was asked to help mediate that ordeal as well. Getting them to agree to that was easy for me. After dealing with the Water Clan, it would be hard to deny other clans the same thing. They had just as much of a war chest and were just as willing to share it with the military. The instant pacification of an entire region was nice. Radiation Clan also had a massive health clinic that they were in charge of. Giving free services to the military there was a bonus asset. Government run facilities were always so slow and demeaning to the veterans that needed them. Having a much quicker option would make the major extremely popular with her men. Once that deal was sighed, that was 3 clans we could resume our support and funding of. Wind Clan was in the southern quadrant of the continent. Sonic Clan was in the western quadrant. We were going to have to figure out how to get those clans in contact with the government. I asked Major Watts for his help. He was actually surprised I was actually able to get through to Saltine.
