Pretty strange feeling getting your nails done when you never thought about them before. But what's even stranger, is getting your nails done for the first time with your lifelong crush as she excitedly talks about all the boys she likes as though it's the most natural thing in the world.
"And oh. My. God. If Mr Reacher were to tell me to meet him in his office for some "extra studies" with that deep sexy voice of his. Ugh. I think I'd just melt," Karyn says as the nail technician puts some acrylics on her nails.
Jon was in such a stunned silence, he barely even noticed his own nails getting done in a shade of light pink. "Uh huh, totally." Jon keeps chewing on his bubblegum.
Karyn smiles, admiring her matching pink nails as they dry. "Of course you agree, it's so hard not to be turned on by that hunk. But what about you? Have you noticed Biff?"
"Biff?" this gets Jon's attention.
"Duh, Biff. He has got the hots for you boy! You better watch out though, I could see Sarah getting pretty jealous. Especially seeing as you're wayyy cuter than her."
"I'm definitely not as hot as Sarah. Besides, I don't even like Bi-"
"You totally are! I bet you are way more Biff's type than her. Plus you're like super sweet and funny and all that good stuff."
This has got to be a whole other level of the friendzone, completely undiscovered.
Karyn continues. "Maybe we could use your stone to help! Make you even sexier to help out?"
"Maybe we should, like, take it easy on the rock Kar-bear..." Jon tries to control the situation.
"No no it's fine," Karyn places her finger on the stones surface. "I wish I knew what Biff found attractive"
