AEP units were supposed to be the new cyborg bosses of their respective regions. Hunter followed after us and said "Hey! You can't just ruin things for me and then just leave!" His slurred words were a sign that he had no clue that I was essentially being kidnapped. "Yeah! Hunter, come and give him a piece of your mind." I said to add to the general chaos. The AEP ignored him and continued to lead me to the front entrance of the music studio. Now that he had been emboldened by me, Hunter was right next to us as we left. I told him to get on my back as we left out the doors and got to the sidewalk. Hunter stumbled, but I bent down to make it easier for him. The AEP unit was now really annoyed. It was clear that he did not enjoy being lectured at by a human. One that was making his objective much harder too. That was not at all my problem. I gave him a couple of blocks before I decided to ask him where we were going now. He looked at me and said "I have a hotel room where we can talk. Let's go there." It was suspicious. I stopped and looked at him. He stopped too. "What's wrong!?"
Just playing along was not going to cut it. Hunter was drunk and impaired so he might actually be fooled. I did not want him to come to danger. was a bit suspicious. I just stopped and looked at him. He stopped as well. "What's wrong?" he asked. His shirt was very plain. "What does an AEP unit want with me and my friend? Especially in a closed off hotel room?" He flinched and looked really shocked. "How do you know that human!?" he demanded. I just pointed at him. "I was there during the selection of the Location A and B. I am also the engineer for my clan. I knew exactly what you were when you walked up to me with your hair and eyes." The cyborg then covered his eyes and then let it go. Watching the nanites of his body change was cool. The eyes were now blue and his hair changed color form light pink to yellow. His clothes also transformed into a black and gray bodysuit. There was even a new bandana. He did not look pleased he was found out. He smirked and said "Is this better!? I hope you like it." I shrugged. "You look like an edgy human teenager. So that is good." I told him.
He seemed to bristle at that. "Don't call me that." he said. "What is wrong with a person being human!? Edgy teen might have been a bit far though." I teased lightly. That was a mistake. Menacing intent radiated from him. I forgot that they were normally hostile on sight to humans. I took a step back and raised my arms placatingly. Hunter was still not aware of the danger here. I had to tread very lightly. "We don't need to fight here. You said we were going to talk it over in the hotel. If that's the plan, I don't mind following you and being quiet." He sneered and said "I bet you would, human. Too late! I'm going to get things started." he said as he took his backpack off. He opened the zipper and pulled out a glock and a plastic ziptie. "We are doing this the hard way now. You do not have a choice." he said as he pointed the gun at me. I just looked at him and said "You do not want this. You don't want to make an enemy out of my clan, do you?" I wanted to reason with him. He said "I don't care about that at all. Your clan's already our enemy." That was when I heard someone running towards us.
