Dodging them and their complaints took several weeks. We had managed to hold out long enough that our Owen was able to get them out of town. He was a PEP unit. It was in his best interest for the government goons to get as far away from here as soon as possible. The transmission hub also helped us out. Several low tier PEP units began to act out all over the territory. Wasting time on us was less and less of a benefit when actual people were being attacked in the streets. The PEP units were all pawns. Now that there were PEA and AEP units, they were becoming less and less relevant. It was true that you needed PEP units to ensure the creation of the further evolutions, but having 10000 of them was not necessary. Especially when the last 1500 were all rushed and shoddily made in the mad dash to get them out before all of the factories assembling them were destroyed. Those could be sacrificed with no effect on the large project. The government forces withdrew just in time for the Jukies. I was glad. Once again, we all boarded busses to get there. We had more clan members.

I was walking on foot behind the busses. I was a centauress, so I was not going to fit inside of a bus. We got there without incident. Sixteenth Notes Clan was all there to represent ourselves well. Everyone was ready. Those that had not been at the first one were surprised at the glitz and glamor. Humans were sticking a camera in their faces and begging for their attention. We won Best Recording Package and Best Engineered Album-Non-classical in the preshow again. It was a really great start to the evening. This was my second Jukie. Paul also had his second award. Brett really needed to get in the business. He could easily get one. We then went inside the venue to wait for the show to start. I hoped that we got a televised award. Jazzy Gals and the Boy Band had their performance in the middle of the show. The human band that we signed, Thumpers, actually won the Jukie for Best Rock Song. I watched as they went up. All of them were extremely happy and thanked their parents and friends back home. This was a surprise. Another surprise was 6 C's won Best Pop Vocal Album.
