Sarah's eyes snapped open. She looked around at unfamiliar surroundings before finding the source of the noise. It was on the nightstand next to the bed she was in. What had just happened?

She got up, and looked around the room. It wasn't the large bedroom she was used to. It was much more modest. Bed, desk, laptop. She had to get out of here. But, she was only wearing a large t-shirt..not even a nightgown.

She checked the closet and dresser. All the clothes looked about her size, but...weren't her usual choices. There were skirts, jeans, blouses, and t-shirts...but nothing designer. She checked the label...one size larger than she normally wore. So...not tight, but would fit her.

Sarah gaped, and was unable to hide it. Even more so than her mother dressed so plainly was the fact that her mother asked her where she was going, and if she'd eaten. "What?"

"Breakfast..." Susan said slowly. "Did you eat? What's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost."

"Mom...where...are we?" Sarah asked.

She got an odd look. "The kitchen. Are you feeling okay? Seriously, Sarah, what's going on..I have to get to work...you know how my boss hates when I'm late."

No, she didn't, but...
