Lonna sat down to have her burger and chips for lunch this was not something that she usually ate but today it just seemed right. As usual, she was sitting on her own in a corner of the room. At least she had been until a group of her classmates from the morning turned up and sat beside her. She could not think of them as her friends because just a few hours ago they had been students at the school and she had been their teacher.
That had changed dramatically in just a few hours. Sitting at the table in the seat next to her was Susie her self-proclaimed best friend who seemed to want to take her no Laurens’ boyfriend Jake from her. She was having a hard time keeping that straight in her head. It was ok for her to think that he was hers as long as she did not act on those thoughts.
Across from her was Kelly the gossip of the school, she seemed to know everyone's secrets and would spill them if the price was right. Lonna was glad that she did not have a clue as to what had happened between her and Lauren that morning. How would use that information if she had it? Mind you if Kelly knew she might have an idea as to how to fix things and get her back to her old life, maybe.
Then there was Beth, this girl was stunning and she knew it. She more often than not used her looks to her advantage. She had “Studied with a number of the boys to help them keep her grades up. Well, that was what the teachers thought she was doing. However, Lonnas’ morning as a student had shown her otherwise. What Beth was doing was promising these boys and sometimes delivering certain favors if they were to help her with her assignments. Most of the boys at the school were only too glad to help her.
This was information that Lonna would never have obtained if the “Incident” as she had taken to thinking of what had happened. Without it, she would have been as blind as every other teacher was. She looked at Laurens’ watch and saw that she had only ten minutes of her lunch left before her next class. She knew that there was no time to go and she Lauren and see what she had found out. She could not think of a reason for being late to the next class and she did not want to get into any more trouble than she already was. She left the table and headed to the nearest bathroom.
Much like her counterpart she had not seen herself since that morning. So when she saw herself in the mirror she was rather shocked. She couldn’t remember the last time to her mind she had looked so scruffy, although the outfit she was wearing was very comfortable it was not what she usually would wear to school.
She thought back to that morning and remembered what Lauren had been wearing and realized that she was now wearing instead of her former student. She looked into the mirror again and saw a woman a casual yet fashionable attire. The most striking element in her outfit was the stylish grey sweater she was wearing, which was nicely complemented by a pair of jeans. The sweater covered her torso, extending up to her neck and down to her waist, accentuating her slender figure. She much like Lauren was doing at almost the same moment at the other side of the school came to the conclusion that it was the way that she currently looked that had stopped anyone from noticing that she was a teacher at the school rather than a student, The main question in her mind at that moment was why had everyone not notice that she was not Lauren.
They just seemed to take it for granted that she had been there and part of their group of students for a long time. Why was that the case she needed to speak to Lauren about what was going on but how could she do that? Just as that thought had crossed her mind the bell went for the next class. The one she had been dreading all morning.
