Lauren walked into the bathroom and found the first moments of piece that she had, had since this had all started just before the first class of the day. She was still trying to work out what exactly had happened. Somehow she was now living the life of the one teacher in the whole school who always seemed to have it in for her. Well, that is how it seemed to Lauren anyway.
She had managed to avoid being in her class this year as they had run-ins in the past. Nothing major but it had become clear to just about anyone who paid attention in the school and even a few of those who didn’t that these two women didn’t like each other. The staff had taken matters into their own hands this term by moving Lauren into another chemistry class to avoid any more issues.
It was not that Lauren was a bad student it was that they just could not get along together maybe they were more alike than they would admit and just simply annoyed each other because of this. Lauren finished her business and noticed the click of her heels on the bathroom floor. She had forgotten that she had been wearing the outfit that Lonna had been wearing at the point they had collided that morning. She nervously walked towards the mirror to get a look at what she looked like.
Laurens’ jaw dropped wide open at that moment she was glad that the bathroom was empty and all the students were at lunch. Her outfit consisted of a striking blue blouse and a chic black miniskirt. The blue blouse delicately hangs over her shoulders and continues to her waist, meeting a black miniskirt that extends down to her upper thigh region. Her long top is fashionably paired with a high-waisted mini skirt. Her ensemble was further accentuated by a pair of high heels, adding an extra touch of elegance to her overall look.
In her hands, she was holding a fashionable handbag, that she had not even noticed that she had picked up when leaving the classroom, complemented her outfit it added a practical aspect to her ensemble. How had she gone through the whole morning and not noticed what she was wearing? It was a very different outfit from the jeans and V-neck that she had started the day with.
She took off one of the heels and noticed it was at least two inches high. She had always thought that Ms Tran was tall for an Asian woman but it now turned out to be the heels that she almost always wore and nothing more. As she took another look into the mirror she could barely see any of the old Lauren there. She did not look like Lonna either but she definitely did not look like herself. Maybe it was the makeup and the outfit but now she could see why other people did not see her as anything but a teacher.
She opened the bag she was carrying and found her new staff ID card. It still shocked her that it said she was a member of the school's teaching staff. However this time it wasn’t that she wanted to look at. She took a closer look at the whole card. She was still Lauren Rodriguez, she was still 18. One of the things that seemed strange was the dates on the cars. It had been valid for the last three years but that wasn’t right. She thought for a minute that was when Lonna had joined the staff of the school, wasn’t it? So somehow according to this card, she had been working there for at least the last three years. Yet something else she needed to discuss with that girl when she saw her later that afternoon.
