Note
I was looking around at some old stuff that I had written some branches on and came across this story. I could not believe that it had been four years since I last looked at this let alone added to it. So here goes. I am going to take this down a slightly different road from what I did all those years ago.
She looked over at Lonna who was wearing Lauren’s favorite grey V-neck and her most comfy pair of jeans as she had been since whatever this was had happened this morning. She was talking to Lauren's friends about something what could they be talking about? In Lauren's mind, it could only be one thing it had to be her. Thật là một con chó cái nhỏ she thought. Where had that come from, she wondered and what did it mean?
She would need to ask Lonna after the lesson. Maybe she would know what it meant. The lesson was brought to a halt before it had even started with the ringing of the fire alarm going off. Chết tiệt! Lauren thought. “Okay everyone don’t run. Make your way slowly to the fire nearest fire exit.” Lauren said in as claim a voice as she could manage. No matter what she said her students grabbed their bags and ran to the exit just across the corridor from her classroom. She just sighed as she followed them out after grabbing her register. Wait a minute they weren't her students and it wasn’t her register. They were ms Tran’s. Where was Lonna, before the alarm she had been sitting in Lauren’s usual seat but no she was nowhere to be seen. Lauren walked out to the muster point and found Mary Elliott collating all of the students' names as usual to make sure no one had been left inside.
By the time the drill was over it was time for the next lessons to begin. This meant that Lauren had lost her chance to talk to Lonna. Lauren knew that she would not get another chance until the end of the day. She smiled to herself knowing that her one-time teacher would now have to spend a whole day as a student instead of a teacher. Maybe there was some justice after all. Then she remembered that she was now a teacher at that same school and she would be busy teaching.
She was going to have a busy day.
