Lonna walked into the classroom that only a few hours ago had been hers. She was about to sit at the teacher’s desk when something stopped her. It didn’t feel right for her to sit there not now. She turned at sat one of the student’s seats, only realising after she had sat down that it was the same seat that Lauren usually sat at.

Speaking of Lauren or Ms Rodriguez, she is standing at the door of the classroom watching her students come in and take their seats for class. Lonna looked over at her thinking that was the kind of thing that she normally did at the start of each lesson.

There was something different about the way she stood. She was no-longer standing with her shoulders slouched forward the way they had been when they had met that morning. She was standing more up right. She watched her walk to the front of the classroom after closing the door after the last pupil had entered the room. There was something in the way she carried herself something more.

What was it Lonna thought as she watch Lauren hand out the marked homework from the last class. Finally, it clicked. Lauren was walking more like a adult more like she normally did. Had Lauren noticed it she would need to ask her after the lesson. Susan Smith leaned over to ask Lonna a question about the homework. When Lonna turned back she could see Lauren looking right at her.

Lauren had watched Lonna almost as she knew that she must have been watching her. She wondered had Lonna taken Lauren’s old seat just to get to her. She must have known when she sat down. Lauren looked down at the outfit she was wearing black heels, a dark blue button down and a black pencil skirt. She had been too busy that morning to pay much attention to what she was wearing. She had never been one for heels, but this pair seemed to be ok. She was walking in them fine without a problem at all.

She looked over at Lonna who was wearing Lauren’s favourite grey V-neck and her most comfy pair of jeans as she had been since whatever this was had happened this morning. She was talking to Laurens friends about something what could they be talking about. In Laurens mind in could only be one thing it had to be her. Thật là một con chó cái nhỏ she thought. Where had that come from, she wondered and what did it mean.

She would need to ask Lonna after the lesson.
