Obviously, Bella was extremely happy with this development. Out of her 2 sons, she had managed to salvage her relationship with one. Rocco was bisexual. As long as he was dating this brown haired girl that he liked, she would back him up. Retaining his own close, loving relationship with his mother and aunt was all that he wanted. In my own opinion, it was an extremely pure desire. I wanted to help him succeed. He had the victory that he desired here. Moreover, it was at the hands of his brother and aunt. Marco was still on the outskirts here. He was gay. He was not ever going to be happy being in a relationship with a woman. Even more pressing than that was him being a relatively bratty power bottom. I doubted that Marco would even be able to pretend to get along with any woman Bella or I forcibly set him up with. I was not that dumb. It was only going to burden him and waste all of our time. Due to my extremely sticky situation with Daphne, I was not able to see him at the moment. She had me more or less locked down in our home. To be fair, I had messed up with my infidelity.
Cheating on her was totally my fault and my decision. Now that I was caught, I had to be a man and take my lumps. She did not even want to divorce me at the moment to my surprise. After I saved her life from a gang fight and went on more than the needed 3 missions, she was totally in love with me. This was a major betrayal. Now that it was fully revealed, Daphne wanted to have more control over me. Feeling that way was understandable. We had a new agreement. I was to NEVER return to the hotel ever again. That was fair for her to ask. La Familia was not even in my district. She also wanted me to cut off all ties with my children and mistresses. That was not going to happen. I could be fine without seeing Bella ever again. Bella would probably feel the same way. She still hated my guts. Marco, Rocco and Carlo were all important to me now. Bianca was nice. We got along pretty well. Both of us would probably be a bit bummed out about that. Daphne wanted me to give her some sense of security. I told her she could check my phone each week. Since I could do most of my work from anywhere aside from answer the lieutenant's phone, I did that from home. Daphne was still really skeptical. That was fine with me for now. When I had them with me, the thugs were menacing, but they did not try to enter combat with me. Depending on what they actually wanted at the time, I sometimes resolved things right there. That made them happy. It also rose my profile in time as deals were being made. Settling disputes was important for a mafioso. Whether you did it with murder or diplomacy, it was up to you. Others in the gangs did their activities and violence. It was totally fine.
