Clerics and paladins were not typical classes that could be found there. Even druids were more likely to join them if they were also in the Adventurer's Guild. However, it was not impossible. They had very easy entry requirements: be a living creature able to cast at least 2 level 2 spells. They were prejudiced against undead as they had the overwhelming penchant for being evil. That was bad for PR. Once a baron of the realm was in the guild, they would have to endorse him for count. He would not be a member inside long enough to get a bad reputation. There was a branch of the Mage's Guild in Zeolon. I went there as well to pay my respects. I was still very new to the region. In order to be able to pass his test, he would need to be at least a level 5 paladin. That was fine. While I was there, I was happy with the respect I was treated with. I was the leader of a level 9 coven. I was essentially a huge celebrity and renegade in the mage world. I asked about setting up a branch of my guild in the city. The guild was pleased to hear that. They even gave me a building to serve as an office.

It allowed me to finally move into the area. It was old considering that it looked like it had been built centuries ago. However, any building owned by the guild would be in excellent condition. Mending was a cantrip after all. All damaged could be fixed up easily. This office space provided for living quarters for 9, an master office, library, meeting room, dining room and a cellar underground. There were 3 bedrooms. I took out the queen sized beds and put in 3 twin sized beds. 2 of them in each room were bunk beds. For every bed there had to be a chest or else people would not feel comfortable living there. How could they if there was no place to store all of their personal items? My household was bigger than 9 members. 15 of us made the trip. I was the only coven member of the group. Once I was in the main office, I set it as a branch office. I could do everything here I could do at the strip club. The first thing I did was spawn in personnel. 3 level 5 permanent coven members and 2 temporary members at level 10 came the next day. Wesez and Voxex were to seduce them to full service.

Killing bandits, traffickers and other criminals that made the roads dangerous was the perfect way for the Embereyes to get the exp. that they needed. Lord Xander was a paladin, but even his kids could use some levels to be stronger warriors. As their court mage, I needed to be with them whenever they fought. Why else would they pay me for arcane services? It did not stop me from getting my house in order. Both Brock and Stoner were greater earth elementals and my servants. All I needed to do was take them to city hall and allow them to wait in line. We would need several houses to live comfortably. Wesez and Voxex were each going to get their own. It would have their wives and offspring living there with them. My kids with the humans would live with me. Brock and Stoner both had a sizeable budget. I was sitting on a fortune due to the amount revenue streams I had. The clubs made lots of money. The missions the coven went on gave us lots of cash. We did not need to sleep or pay for food. We got bonuses to our pay for being such a good guild. I got to pick 3 very nice houses.
