If it was me, I definitely would try to renegotiate the terms of my service. Maybe Jason and Owen had a really special reason for keeping to it. Since I was practically an outsider, I could just ask them. Walking up to them, all of the monks followed. "Jason. Owen. I have a question for you." I said. They gave each other a look before Jason said "Ask away." "We wanted to know why you still keep your vow of poverty. Surely, you could ask Bilios to release you from them now. You are clerics and people really enjoy your help and guidance." I said. Owen smirked and said "We were always extremely poor. Our birth parents had too many mouths to feed. So much so that they put us on the altar of the shrine in a box. We were the youngest and Bilios is a god of fatherhood. If they could not raise us, he would have pity on us." Jason smiled and said "He did. The acolytes took us in as their own and searched for our parents. They found them, but saw they were in no place to raise the kids they had, let alone 2 more. The acolytes were mendicants. That lifestyle is all we know. It's scary to change it."

Begging and service was how they made the measly chump change they needed to survive. Surely when it was the pair of them as cute younger kids, more sympathy to their plight and funds came their way. Now, they can offer healing and advice. From what the monks told me, they also whored themselves out to the women that were willing to pay for those services. Still, they maintained a grace and dignity from their humble lives. "I can get it if you were comfortable with the lifestyle that you've always had. I don't understand how simply not needing to beg and lower yourself is scary. I think you both deserve some level of praise and respect for your position." I told them. The monks agreed. They loved being adored and paid for the ability to give their time and attention to their customers at the club. Even the chaotic clerics seemed to take issue. "Stop bowing and scraping to lower humans. It annoys me." Nyrryd said curtly. Fyztar nodded and said "Trash that can't even care for their offspring don't deserve them. Even fiends would never do something so shameful. We will absolve you."

Jason and Owen were not expecting this to be done so suddenly and forcefully. Owen frowned and snapped "What right do you have to tell us how we should live!?" It was a good question. Ohmath scoffed. The humans turned to him. The incubus had his arms crossed as he looked at the sternly. "Wraxix made you the leaders. We are your subordinates. We aren't from Hell, so we don't give a shit about hierarchy or any of that nonsense. It still pisses us all off to see or know that our supposed leader is bowing down to some literal limp dick loser who couldn't make a female cum to save his life. And for what? Barely enough coins to get a sandwich and water from the nearest store!? Having to lower yourself to an inferior is the worst shame for a fiend. If we get angry about it, these lawful incubi must be going insane." he explained. All of it made sense now. I was a Player, so it was not the same, but the monks were really upset. That was why they wanted me to do something about it. Jason looked at the monks too. "Is all this true!?" Jason asked. They all told him how gross it was to them.
