It was 4 am in the Chase house. Its former occupant had only moved into her new place a few months ago but the once Danni Chase was now working at the local high school and was living in the smiths’. This house had been empty for the last few days not that anyone had noticed. Outside of the house there was parked a black van. Moving to and from this van were several men dressed in blue. They were carrying items to and from the house, these items looked almost the same unless you looked closely at them. A short time later if you could say that when time did not move these blue men took out what appeared to be the body of a young brunette from the back of the van and carried her inside.
This was Christine, up until a few days ago she had enjoyed her job at the local high school. Then she had been Christine Smith long-time friend of Bethany Black one time mother to Karyn now mother to Tina. That friendship had never happened to this Christine as she was no longer Christine Smith now she was Christine Chase rising star of the local police force or that would be who she was when she woke up.
This Christine had only arrived at the local station a few months back. She had impressed a number of her fellow officers and her sergeant was already thinking about sending her on the detectives training course. Yes, she was young only in her mid-twenties but this young officer was a good one and he didn’t want to see someone with her talent at the job go to waste.
That was waiting for Christine when the clock moved again for this moment between the movement of the seconds she was just Christine the lifeless body being carried from the back of this black van into her new house and her new life.

“Get ready. He said now we follow them back to their base.” Jon said to his temporary best friend, not that there was anything wrong with Tina but she was not Karyn that was who he was trying to rescue. He looked towards the end of the street and saw the mist. He knew from the last few night experiences that this was how these blue-clad men got from their base. He nodded to Tina and they headed towards it.
