Jon met up with Tina a short time later. “Hi Jon Boy are you ready for this,” Tina asked her friend. “More than ready. He replied. I have spent the afternoon working on something.” “What would that be Jon boy,” Tina said looking at him with a serious look on her face. “I have come up with a wish that should make sure that I have some help even if something happens to you tonight. A wish but I needed you to hear it before I made it. Jon told her. “Go for it if it will help I am all for it. Tina said. Jon then brought two things out of his pockets, one was the rock itself and the second was a piece of paper. The same piece of paper that Jon had written his protection wish on earlier which he now read aloud.

“I wish that whoever is in the role of my best friend that they would not be affected by the activities of the blue men when they change the roles of the people “. I put that last bit in so that if you were taken which I hope doesn’t happen. The person they put in place knows what is happening and we don’t have to start from the beginning again.

Even if this was not Karyn it felt like he was lying to her when he explained why he had word the wish the way he had. The rock for its part let off its usual flash and then went back to its normal inert state as Jon put it back in his pocket. “I understand Jon I may not like it but it could happen.” Tina smiled back at him. “I mean think of someone like Zoe Sheppard living my life and you having to deal with explaining everything to her.” She laughed trying to make sure that Jon knew that she understood why he had done what he had.

As the two of them walked towards their destination Jon was thinking, why did she have to use Zoe as an example? Even though the two of them had argued a lot he did miss his sister. Jom had picked the Sanders house again for two reasons. It was close and he knew that someone was missing from it not that Tina would know that.

A few minutes later they were waiting outside it as the black van pulled up outside it. It was only then that Jon noticed that time had once again stopped. Turned to look at Tina which brought him a “What?” “The wish worked time has stopped again and you can still move.” He told her. For the first time since that night when he had been joined on his adventures with blue men all be it shortly by Biff, he was not on his own. Even though nothing had changed this brought a sense of relief to Jon. “So now what Jon Boy?” Tina asked. “We can’t fight them here we need to find out what they are up to and try and make sense of it. No matter what they do here tonight Tina. Jon told her. “Yes sir.” She said giving him a mock salute.

They watched the blue men carry in a figure, a high school girl with tanned skin and light blonde stylized hair. She was wearing a pure dark silk nightgown. “Jon, who is that person I don’t know them?” Tina asked him. “I am not sure but I am sure I know them from somewhere. “ She went on to say.

Despite Jon’s earlier wish appearing to have been successful Tina had failed to recognise her own mother, well her original one. She was now a great deal younger than when Tina had last seen her. She had never seen her when she was in high school, even if she had she would still have trouble recognizing her. She now had a tan and body that would have given the original version of Sarah a good run for her money. It took a minute or two for him to realize that this was the original Tiffany’s replacement. He wondered if she was going to be as much of a slut as the original had been before she became the klutz that was Tiffany Leesson only time would tell, well when it restarted anyway.

“If you can take your eyes off the blonde for a second they are getting ready to leave,” Tina told him after nudging him in the ribs. “Get ready. He said now we follow them back to their base.”

Meanwhile across town….
