Jason and Owen did not like the sound of that. "Jason and Owen got their cleric powers because Bilios thought that it was great to see humans out fuck an incubus and make him cum. Are you okay with being the one that gives us incubi a bad name!? The more time they spend praying and showing devotion to their god without you, the more powerful than you they become." I pointed out. Owen got inbetween us and said "Hey hey hey! We're all equal here at the temple. We've never seen you as lesser than us for being fiends." Ohmath rolled his eyes. "Obviously. Fiends are better than humans in every way." he said. All the others agreed with Ohmath. Jason frowned and said "We've never seen ourselves as lesser than you either. In any way." That made all the incubi confused. Because they were not lawful aligned, they did not care about hierarchy. None of them tried to oppress the human brothers or tried to make them feel inferior. The incubi of the temple just wanted to do their own thing. They all had simply assumed it was understood by everyone humans were the clearly inferior beings.
Now that this was in question, they did not know how to take this news. Nyryd and Fyztar gained their powers first. They thought that it was obvious that they were better here. Even among the other whelps. Jason and Owen being their equals was laughable. It seemed that Ohmath was angry. The humans only got recognition after taking advantage of his weakened state. It was his lowest moment. To say that this made them his equal, or the equal of any of the others, was insulting to him. Both Ezrinez and Lanartaran were looking really confused. All 5 incubi were miraculously given dreams that they should not have been able to have. Each of them had a real miracle take place. Jason and Owen did not get a private meeting with their god. They just woke up with powers one morning. It was only their speculation that fucking Ohmath and making him cum was what merited them getting powers. The incubi were superior even in the eyes of Bilios. I guess that theological line of reasoning had some real merit. More so than grievance from Ohmath or racism from Nyryd and Fyztar. Jason frowned.
Hearing them argue for hours on end was not what I came here for. "Ohmath. You are bringing the role of us incubi down. I want you to get your cleric powers as soon as possible." I told him. He looked nervous now that all of the other incubi were looking judgmentally at him now. It was now a matter of incubi and fiend pride. They did not want to let the humans win. All of them saw it as a competition now. Jason and Owen were also upset. No one liked to be the victim of racism. Knowing that their fellow priests thought they were inferior due to their race made them feel cheap and unseen. Even their position of head priest of the temple meant nothing to the others here. It was obviously not a pleasant feeling. I clapped my hands to get all of their attention. "We should be working together. Bilios has seen fit to have you all serve him here. If there was a problem, your god would have solved it by now. Humans and fiends can both be really good clerics. In that way, you guys are equal." I said. All of the incubi gave me a dirty look. "Can we stop trying to cause arguments between yourselves?" I asked.
