Giving his other offspring a fond glance, he said "Farewell. May the winds blow us on the same course one day." The air elemental warrior then looked at me. His facial expression harshened up. "I still haven't forgotten all of the horror you and your coven have put me and my comrades through. I will never forgive you for it. If we ever meet again, I will kill you." he swore. He then phased into air and left through the window. It was fine with me. I would only get stronger with time. He would never be able to kill me like his former leader did. Looking at the child that was left behind, he did look a bit like Larry. He shared his nose and ears. Ororin's features also got into the mix. It seemed it took a combination of incubus and human semen to get the air elemental's body to spawn offspring inside the potent energy. Obviously, I called Larry from his job to come to the hotel. He got to see his true first child. I told him the lie about the pet's death. He had the decency to look a bit sad. He then held the child for the first time. "Yep! This little guy's got my looks." he said happily. He then named him Shawn.

Larry and I had to wait in order to give the news to Ororin. She was still doing the second mission for the day. I would have to take that loss in pay and credit. That was all fine with me. I was also due for a Bronze Adventurer confirmation. When she heard, she was upset. She did not care about half breed offspring. Ororin cared about a single person. That was herself. Having a slave that she could vent her frustrations on and feed from without any reservations was good. Having them snatched away was bad. Since I was the one to snatch him away, she was angry at me. "It looks like you failed to deliver on your promise. How should I punish you for it." she seethed. I raised an eyebrow. "Punish? I delivered my promise exactly." I told her. She growled and said "You clearly didn't, Wraxix! My pet is dead! Stop trying to get out of this." I held up my hands and said "No. I said 'I'll keep the pet under my protection and ensure that the offspring is a perfect pawn for you.' He was under my protection and your son Shawn is exactly that." She crossed her arms. "How so!?" she demanded. That was easy.

Smiling, I said "From what you said to me, the perfect offspring would be one that be used at will to your benefit in future schemes and one that would please Larry as he wants to be a father. Larry is very pleased that his son shares features with him this time. You will be Shawn's mother. Obviously, you can steer him into doing all of your bidding as long as you treat him right. He is perfect for you." She had no response to that. All she could do is stomp her foot in rage. I smirked and said "Clearly, I did mess up and gave him an opening here. I will definitely compensate you. Let's get you a new pet." She was still upset, but there was no reason to look a gift horse in the mouth. "You're lying about something, Wraxix." she said suddenly. I looked at her and asked her to repeat herself. "We were essentially spawned at the same time. I know you way too well for you to fool me! You are lying to me right now about something." she said again. This time it was more forcefully. Shrugging, I just asked "What do you think I could possibly be lying about?" That made her pause. Ororin did not know what.
