Our club was actually quite busy. Both the demons and the devils wanted to throw some auctions here. Every other day for the next week and a half, there were trading and fucking in the mornings. Hosting 5 auctions meant receiving 25 souls. Usually, I would give them out to the 5 entertainers on that day. Since I knew we were going to have a whole lot, I decided to keep them in my office. That made all of the incubi really discontent. At the end of the last auction, I smiled as I was able to give a soul to every incubi in the club, myself included. Eating the souls together was a really nice experience. After eating, there were still 9 souls left. There were 5 whelps at the temple. I made the trip over there. I had Vohrear and Nyrear come with me for added security. Carrying so many soul lanterns was bound to make me a target. With 3 of us, it made an attack a lot less likely. When we got to their front door, all 5 whelps charged at us. They had heard about the souls. Clearly, I was right to bring my back up here. I gave them each a lantern. "Jason and Owen don't need to see you snacking." I said.

I watched as they got the hint and went to their rooms. Since I was here, I was going to talk to the human priests. Jason and Owen were sitting down and eating a pizza together. When we approached them, they offered us some. I declined for us all. It would only taste like ashes. They looked surprised that someone would turn down a slice of pizza. "Suit yourself." Owen said with a shrug of his shoulders. Jason added a simple "Your loss." It certainly was. I really liked meal lovers pizzas. Looking at them, I asked if they were doing okay. This was a whole new city. Neither of the brothers had any real complaints here. "Have the new priests I brought you been helpful at all?" was my next question for them. They shared a look. Jason was the leader. "They are certainly a mixed bag." he said. That made me raise an eyebrow. It did not sound to good. He said "They are really strong and fast. If something needs to be done, we can rely on one of them to do it. Your guards are also good at breaking up all fights between them. And they do get in fights very often." Nodding my head, I said "Sorry."

We would certainly be having a long talk about that. "Are they at least good at their job as priests?" I asked. Owen sighed deeply. "That's a really mixed bag too." he said after swallowing his last bit of pizza. I waited for him to explain. "They are amazing at helping men clear their minds and getting erections. Not so great at giving advice or listening to their concerns about fatherhood. They just tell them to pin down women and fuck them." I just facepalmed. Jason said "Being illegal aside, beating up people that look at their partners and children is not really going to get most of the people that come in here far. People usually come in when they don't feel as manly as they really should." From what I could gauge, both brothers were good guys. The incubi were chaotic evil. Bilios was a true neutral god, so all could serve him. It just meant all types of worship was allowed. There was a real difference in the ethos between the whelps and the humans. In this sense, neither Jason nor Owen could really criticize them as priests. They just thought their advice and counsel was animalistic and evil. It was.
