Suddenly, from somewhere close by, I heard a fierce roar. I looked wide-eyed at Brav, who then looked wide-eyed at me.
"We have to get up!" I yelled.
"Easier said than done. This is kind of new for me, you know," Brav said.
"New for you? Then how are we gonna do this?" I asked, panicking.
I heard the roar again. It was closer.
Back and forth, we each tried to get up, but soon we saw that it was hopeless, unless we worked together and got up at the same time.
Slowly, we did just that, and after a little bit of a struggle, we managed to get to our feet.
"This isn't going to be as fun as I thought it would be," I said.
"Well, get used to it. We can't change our avatars until we finish the game," Brav said.
"What? I thought you could change it whenever you wanted."
"I heard a rumor of a treasure that allows you to change yourself into anything you want, but I'm not sure that it's actually real."
"If there's a chance that it is real, I think we should go look for it," I suggested. "I'm not spending the rest of the game like this. No offense to you, but I didn't play this game to be frustrated all the time."
