“Jon, are you ok?” Dr. Schreber asked him. Jon just managed to gain control of his jaw to answer. “Yes I am fine sir but I still don’t know what you are talking about.” Was his reply. Suddenly a noise went off outside the office door and Dr. Schreber looked worried. “Damm I am out of time. I will see you again soon Jon.” The doctor said as he turned and opened a second door that Jon was sure had not been there a second before. The Doctor did not even stop towards Jon as he said, “Goodbye for now.” Jon turned towards the front door of the office to see if he could see what had scared Dr. Schreber but as he did so the noise stopped. He then turned back to where the doctor had been and not only was he gone but so was the door.
An hour or so later Jon was sitting having his lunch trying to work out what had happened in the office that morning. Not long after Dr. Schreber had left Ms, Jones had come back into the office and she had looked as confused as Jon as to what was going on but she had sent him back to class anyway. Jon rejoined the rest of his classmates in English and tried to focus on the lesson. He finished his lunch on that Friday afternoon he realised that he would not see Karyn(Tina) Black until after school and if was clever about it he could delay it until the following day giving him more time to figure out what he was going to do when they finally met up.
He thought if she was taking over Karyn’s life from her, she would probably have her phone. So he sent her a text, Won’t be able to meet up after school this afternoon got a few things to do.
A few seconds later came the reply that sounded so much like something that Karyn would send him. Shame Jon Boy I was hoping to catch up with you after last night's sleepover. See you later T.
Jon sat there for a few seconds wondering if what he had seen over the last few days had been a dream or had happened. He decided that they had happened as his imagination was not that good to have come up with the idea of the blue men or them carrying people out of their houses in the middle of the night to replace them with someone else.
