Now that we were done, it was time to go home. The incubi had the big club. The air elementals could live in the house that Kyle and Myles captured. I still had my hotel suite. I escorted Myles, Kyle, A, B, C and Gust to their home. They looked around and then decided to relax in the various rooms. I walked all the way to the hotel. The receptionist waved to me. I waved back. Once in my suite, there was nothing to do. The club was not going to open until the afternoon. As I sat down in the large, white tiled kitchen, I zoned out for a bit. I did not actually have much to do in here. My vision began to go gradually darker. I barely noticed that my breathing was getting heavier before I passed out. It was instant death. I could not believe that it happened. Someone had killed me. I had to wait a minute of real world time. That was an hour in game time. When I came too, I saw one of the air elementals leaning over me. He smirked down at me. I looked up at him in pure confusion. "Looks like he wasn't quite dead after all." he said to himself. He had to have been the one that killed me in here.

Even I could appreciate that. It would not be that hard for an air elemental to accomplish this. Most creatures needed to breathe. For this air elemental, slowly taking all the air out the room to the point I would collapse would be an easy task. "I've been following you around for this whole week. You really thought that you could mock us as trophies. You broke their pride. Now, those traitors have no right to call themselves warriors." Still, he was only an air elemental. Being their leader meant that he was a bit stronger. All of his stats were slightly higher than the others. That did not stop me from kicking his ass. When he was on the ground, it was time to get my revenge on him. He glared at me. "Do your worst. I won't break." he declared. Respect was one thing, but he had literally killed me. Ororin and Nyrear had pets. I could too. I tied him up with the magic rope I collected from the back rooms. He was not going to be able to phase away from me. The proud warrior tried to struggle against the binds and flee, but it was all useless. I went several round on his ass. He was thrashing around.

Thinking more clearly, I wondered what was going on with Kyle and Myles. If Gust had been in cahoots with their leader all along, things could be really bad. When I had noticed this, morning already came. I left him tied up to the bedposts with the rope. He was not getting out. "Mark my words, fiend! I'll kill you one day! And on that day, you'll stay dead." he called after me as I left. I went straight to Kyle and Myles's house. When I got there, they came up to me. "What happened? We were freed from the contract." Myles asked. He was looking at me warily, like this was some trap. "Yeah. During the night, the bond to you went away. Did you free us, Wraxix?" Kyle asked hopefully, confirming what I thought. Contracts were until death or if the contractor failed to give the summoned the offering they requested. When the air elemental warrior killed me, it freed them. I looked at Gust. He raised an eyebrow at me. "What are you playing at, fiend? I've been with you for a full week and you've kept a tight grip on them. Why the sudden change of heart?" he demanded. It was utterly perfect now.
