“You did what?!” Steven screamed internally at the situation. It was crazy… what the heck was she even thinking!

Rozzeriel looked a bit meekly, her tail limping down. She sat down on Steven’s chair in his bedroom while they discussed the issue. Her demonic red skin showing- somehow- a deeper blush on her crimson cheeks. “I- well- I made a deal…” She rubbed her hands. “That’s what demons do isn’t it?” She looked acutely distressed.

“With Valerie the crazy Dragon-girl gone lunatic nuts!?” Steven asked with a sinking feeling.

Rozz gave another quick glance folding her arms. “Demons outrank Dragons, don’t they?” she asked. “I mean- I thought they did. I never did look at these things too deeply.”

Steven sighed and gripped his hair on his head in frustration. “Well- it depends on continuity- actually never mind.” This was not the point! What to do now? He had to somehow protect William, but he wasn’t sure how. “So… this dragon appears to have magic…” He grimaced. Valerie… the girl with the power to transform others. Did all those who transformed have magic… it was an interesting thought and something he would have to put down in his notes.

“So do you, right?” Rozz reminded. “You’re more powerful… I’m sure.

“I- I don’t know.” Steven shrugged. “I’m not one of the originals… I wasn’t in your classroom… God knows I wish I was…”

“You- you really wish that?” Rozz asked surprised. “Really?”

Steven felt like his body jumped out of his skin. He just admitted it... he admitted a truth that he had no real intention to. “I- I mean- I don’t know. I know how it messed up your life and everyone else’s… we lost our school over it… but…” He looked down. Seeing Rozz again though was at least a wonderful thing. He wasn’t hated at all by them. “…Summoning you was probably the greatest trick I’ll ever do…” He gave a half smile at that. He decided to take out his notebook. “So, what exactly is this wager?”

Rozz was happy to get down to business. “Okay… so… Val is going to transform William. The wager will be if he can still have a birthday party with three friends in a month’s time. Val said he was going to turn him into a girl… but I managed to throw in that I can decide what ‘kind’ of girl…”

“-and if he can’t have a birthday party with three friends, Val… owns you.”

“Well- I think the cops would-“

“The cops don’t have anything to do with magic Rozz! You’re a magical creature now. A demon-girl! Do you have any idea what that even means? When you make a deal, it sticks! You should have put a loophole or at least make the cost less. Put a sunset clause on it- anything! You’ll be enslaved to her forever!”

“I- I didn’t think about it at the time. Will ran away from me! He thought I was a scary demon. I- I just wanted to talk to him and Val suddenly wanted to hurt him for acting like that and I just didn’t know what to say!” She limped her red tail in with annoyance, flicking it. “I’m not a scary demon... I’m a nice one… I’m trying to be one anyway.”

There was stunned silence in Steven’s bedroom. For a while nobody said anything… they were both new to dealing with magic and were not entirely sure ‘how’ it worked or what could happen now. Steven seemed to have ‘very’ good instincts though… “… I won’t let her enslave you,” said Steven determined. “If I have to… I’ll… I’ll find a way.” Maybe if they lost, they could make their own deal… he could offer something… to Val. If there even ‘was’ anything to offer a crazy dragon-girl with super strength and magical powers.

“…maybe we can focus on winning the bet?” Rozz whispered gently. “If I win, she will have to obey all human laws. I did get that out of her at least…”

“True. Stopping her from rampaging will help in the long run. I’m just glad she hasn’t outright hurt anyone yet.” Steven nodded to himself. Though for how long? How long until Val actually ‘does’ hurt someone. Stopping her had suddenly become… his job. At this point, Steven wondered if… he could embrace his new role as a ‘wizard’. They had to decide on what would make Will’s transition the ‘easiest’.

Fortunately, he had an expert on the subject.
Steven looked to Rozz seriously. “So… you’re a girl now. I mean- you’ve gone through the whole… process. You tell me, was there anything that could make it… easier? What’s the most gentle way we could do it to William?”

Rozz blinked and blushed. “Uh- I completely forgot about that.”

Steven stared. “H-How can you forget about that!” The teenager gave an exasperated look.

The demon girl flushed again looking away embarrassed. “I-I don’t know! I just… it’s not something that comes up anymore!” Rozz gave an exasperated look. People saw her, acted in a way that she had gotten used to now… and everything about it had just sort of ‘clicked’ in the end. At first, she was terrified of what she had become but as time went on she relaxed… and those around her relaxed… she was a demon girl and it all made a certain ‘sense’. Maybe that was it? “We… need him to transform into a girl that can look ‘relaxed’. Maybe… one that looks like him now? Like a simple girl version of him?”

That was the obvious answer to this, but it felt like a trap to Steven. “Maybe… but isn’t there like- an uncanny valley when it comes to that? Being a different gendered version of yourself might be messier then being someone entirely different. Is there anything William hates about himself?” He wasn’t too fat, too thin, he was actually quite fit.. handsome… healthy… damn it! Was there anything being a girl could be improved upon?! (and why was thinking such a trail of thought felt so wrong?)

“We should keep him human at least,” Rozz thought. “That must be easier. He hates… the changed. He hates things like… me.”

Steven patted his friend’s shoulder. “I know... but I don’t hate you. And- to be honest I think changing his species would probably make him better off… to teach him a lesson… but yeah we’re doing this to help him, not out of some petty vengeance. Let’s write this all down… we’ll give it to Val and see if she accepts it.” Steven started to type it on his computer. “Do you have a picture of Will?”

“On my phone yeah- hold on… here.”

Steven stared at the human, handsome looking average blonde teenager. He wasn’t ‘bad’ looking. He was a little thin, had rather long hair for a guy but not that long. He stared at the picture. “I wonder what he would look like as a girl-“

Ping.

The picture changed! Steven stared as the light from his hands glistened over the phone and now it showed Will as a female version of himself. His blonde hair was longer… rather petite shoulders. She had a ‘girl next door’ vibe to her, though it was a little odd seeing her in still male clothes. The picture seemed to adjust the sizes as much as it could though there was little doubt this was a version of William as if he had turned into a girl.

Rozz looked at the changed picture in awe. “H-How did you do that?”

Steven looked in wonder himself. More magic? “I don’t know… but this is useful.” Could he just make the picture look like anything? “Uh… what would he look like as a demon-girl?” Ping. The demon in the picture had purple skin, with odd looking horns above her head on what looked like pink hair. She had small B-cup sized breasts. She had rather odd pink eyes that were tinged black. Interestingly Steven could also see six fingers on each hand. Though thankfully was quite natural looking, and not a product of ‘weird AI’. “What do you think? You could easily befriend him and get a party going next month like that. Invite a few other friends… done deal!” He smiled a bit in the thought.

“Um, maybe that’s too far. We did agree to keep her human right?” Rozz reminded. “Species changes are too hard on some people. Will would be an absolute wreck…”

“Yeah I know. Fine… human please.” Ping. Again the picture reverted to the human-girl form. “Let’s make her a little prettier?”

“She is pretty!” Rozz frowned.

“I- I just mean a little more… you know… to increase her popularity?”

“What… by making her bustier?” Rozz put her hands on her hips.

“I-I don’t know!” Steven gave an exasperated look. “I’ve never had to figure out how to transform someone. It just doesn’t feel right!” Even if they were doing it for a good reason, this felt so wrong. Hopefully this was just temporary, and he could change him back after…

Rozz gave a sympathetic look at Steven’s concerns. It did feel a bit like ‘playing god’ with someone’s life… and she didn’t want to hurt William. “I guess… the problem is I don’t know what happens at the end of the bet. Does that mean he’ll be stuck in whatever form we decide… forever?”

That sunk in deeply.

Rozz gave a soft grimace. “I should call off the bet-“

“You can’t. You’ll forfeit by default.”

Rozz sighed again. “I still feel bad about this. Maybe you can fight her with your magic?”

Steven blanched at the thought. Him, fight an all-powerful dragon girl? With his little understanding of magic? “Bad idea. Let me just touch up Girl-Will.” He brushed his hand over the image leading to a rather nice looking if ordinary young woman. She had pretty eyes, and soft blonde hair. He gave it some length, since it really helped add to her features. She still seemed a bit plain but Rozz insisted she was fine like that. “How do we send it to Val?”

Ping. “Uh.. I think I just magicked it to her. So... yeah… all done.”

Valerie was inside what she now considered her ‘den’.

The dragon-girl had decided to ‘take over’ the remains of what was once the school, where everyone initially transformed. Hearing it was going to be condemned, She told all the scientists there, that this was ‘her territory’ now… and that was all it was. They left quite quickly, and… there would be no demolition while she was around. It made sense to protect the place she was ‘reborn’ into, and perhaps discover the strange secrets… the answer to ‘why’ they all ended up like this…

“Hm, being a dragon is… the greatest gift of all…” She thought in delight. It was great… well… except for the one thing. The one thing she dreaded most and the entire reason she needed a territory. “Oh Hells not now-“ she was about to lay her clutch of eggs. She had done so a few times and…. Perhaps it was this that spurred her towards ‘acting’ as a proper dragon should. The indignity of being an egg layer demanded… balance. She had to control everything else, even if she couldn’t control this aspect of her biology…

It took some time, feeling almost like hours… but her labours were done, resulting in four eggs in the corner… each a brilliant blue with green swirls. She looked in utter disgust as she redressed herself, thankful that it was over. “So much power… so much… I could do anything…” Almost anything… next month she would be condemned to do this again… melancholy with such thoughts she was distracted. First of all, she wanted to straighten this place out… turn it into a ‘temple’, get some worshipers… yes…

She heard a soft creek as ‘something’ moved. The dragon woman hissed red hot fire. Her senses on edge as she threw herself to anger. “Who dares intrude upon my domain!” She demanded. Humans- always humans they will suffer!

A soft chuckle emanated from the corridors of the abandoned school. “Hello my daughter…”

Valerie stared at the strange woman. She looked vaguely human… but a dragon could sense another dragon anywhere… especially one with an aura like this. She was so … big… the aura, contained within a human shell… it defied all logic. This ‘dragon’ was about fifty feet tall! Not in the physical but in the spiritual… she could see her true form… a destroyer… and as powerful as Val was, she suddenly realised she was just a tiny spark compared to whatever ‘this’ being was.

Yet a dragon’s pride would never shy away even if she was out classed. “Why do you speak so familiar to me…”

The huge dragon chuckled. “…because you are one of my children dear…” The woman explained, lifting a soft flock of red hair that went all the way down from her head down to her legs. She had green eyes with a ‘reptilian’ quality to them. “I see you are… suffering some of the ‘pains’ of being in our family now…’ she smirked slightly glancing at the eggs.

Valerie flashed another glow of red anger at the teasing of the woman. “If you have nothing to say… kindly leave.” She flicked her tail and spread her wings, turning away from her. She wanted this ‘entity’ to go but couldn’t force her out.

The Dragon-woman continued to give an enigmatic look. “You… interest me child. Your anger, your display of power… I understand your desires better then you can think… but… you should know you are not alone in this. There is another dragon…”

“…you?” Valerie asked warily.

“Oh please,” The woman laughed. “If you transcend to True Dragon… we can talk.”

“A ..true dragon?” Valerie wasn’t sure if to feel insulted or not.

“Yes dear. Oh, you can call me Lady Selisha…” she smiled. “It’s been quite a long time…”

Valerie looked in quiet awe at the creature… she was old. Very old… and yet so young. She had vibrant magical power, dancing at her fingertips. She was fascinated and for the first time since her transformation, felt this odd sense of ‘doubt’… that reminded her of her humanity. “…what am I… Lady Selisha…” She asked.

“Finally, you ask… a good question.” Selisha nodded. “Beings as you, are simply human with a little more… a drop of our essence… how, I cannot say… some of us will choose you… others will happen accidently… but either way you join in our family… so I suppose I should congratulate you on that. However, I am the Matriarch of this Familia… and you will be my responsibility…”

Responsibility?! Valerie was nobody’s responsibility! “…and what’s it to you? Who is this other dragon?”

“She’s quite… strong. I’m not sure if she’s stronger than you at the moment. However, she is so powerful, that she has hidden the truth of her nature from even herself…” The dragon-woman explained. “The two of you will very likely fight…”

“I’ll win!” Valerie declared.

“…magical battles are not like ‘human’ battles as you’ve been doing… there are certain ‘rules’… especially when sisters fight…” Selisha gave a ‘tut-tut’ motion.

“Rules? Rules?! We’re dragons! We make the rules!”

“-I- make the rules child… when a dragon does battle with another dragon, they will be subject to my law… my rules… and I decide the penalty and gains…” She gave a resolute look. “You have also made a deal… I sense…”

“So? what of it?”

“Oh… nothing. Nothing of consequence. However, just so you know… if you go against the terms, you will no longer be a dragon… you’ll be subject to human laws, one way or the other… as a dragon, or as a human again…”

Valerie raised her eyes. “What?”

“Oh, don’t get me wrong. You are a wonderful asset… and having a demon-girl enslaved to serve our Famila is… an interesting prospect. They have many uses… but yes. Your part in this will be enforced by me. That’s how it works my dear… magical deals… are not like human deals either. They become… enforced by reality itself. I am part of that reality... and that part of you that is not human… is subject to me… you must be made to understand, what is at stake for you if you lose…”

Valerie looked at the dragon-woman with annoyance. So… that’s how it worked? “I’m not going to lose!” Valerie demanded. “It doesn’t matter ‘what’ they pick… William will never be happy as a changed… even a minor one as being a girl!” She will win.

The dragon woman giggled. “You humans are such fragile creatures, this is true. In any case I have Rozz’s answer…” the woman stepped forward, holding out an orb. “I believe this is what they expect this … William to be turned into…”

Valerie looked annoyed. “Fine… let me see what they chose…” She smiled a bit as she saw the picture. “Heh.. well… they really wanted to make her look as human as possible didn’t they… He barely looks different at all! Just a girl version of Will…”

“That was their desire, yes,” Said the Dragon-woman. “So, please do not go against their request...”

“Oh… I won’t. She’ll look ‘exactly like that…” Valerie pointed out to the picture.

…after all she had no sense of ‘scale’ with just that picture…

The dragon woman flew through the night… “Children fighting is never a good thing,” she mused. When Dragon’s fought, worlds were destroyed… such was the way of things. She wasn’t sure which of her daughter’s she... preferred. The one who was true to her nature… or the other one… who didn’t even know what she was. There were others of course, all slowly awakening. They would all have to come to some agreement at some point, in this strange world… to decide the balance of who will be able to join them, who is denied… and who is ‘obligated’…

That night William seemed to have suffered… some unusual issues as he slept.

His body had a distinct glow of magical energy… The blonde boy’s hair grew outward quite rapidly, flowing gently over his neck and brushing past his cheek. The transformation continued, with his shoulders creeping inwards… his facial features becoming increasingly feminine. He turned slightly, laying onto his back as he felt the unusual sensation of breasts forming. Two distinct mounds, that ended up about B-cup in size. He was a rather slim girl now, with only a gentle sway of outward hips and a pinched in waist.

He looked pretty much, what the expectation would be, had he been born a girl…

However, then the ‘unusual’ twist began to happen. The girl started…

to grow bigger…

Her leg started to move well over her bed first, as her torso and head all pushed to the constraints of her bedroom.

She was becoming a giantess…

From six feet… up to seven… eight… nine… she continued to grow and grow! Her clothes, that which remained of them shredded themselves with her barely even noticing… until a foot was now poking itself out and down the hallway. She continued to sleep, oblivious to the damage she was causing…

Her head now popping out through the window… a wall was destroyed as her other leg finally pushed through the bricks… more damage and destruction…

She was by now about twenty feet tall…

Through the orb, loaned by Lady Selisha, Valerie watched the destruction of the house with a giggle. “…can’t have a party without a house…” This was an easy bet to win!
