After class, Yuki walked out with Karyn. "Do you know where Room 213 is?" She asked.
Karyn looked at the schedule Yuki was holding. "We have the same two classes in a row. I'll show you."
"Most thanks..." Yuki said.
"Most people just say thanks or thank you," Karyn said.
"Thanks...for helping me with my English."
"You're doing real well, you have all the words..." Yuki seemed to appreciate the help. Karyn had had friends in the past who had hurt her....and lately she'd gravitated toward people who were the opposite.
Despite having a lot of students, Lakeview Academy was like a small town...new things got noticed...and usually gossiped about. So, people did wonder who the new girl with Karyn was. And as a majority Caucasian school, Yuki would have been noticed even if not for her clothes and manner.
