Zoe Meadows couldn't shake a weird feeling she was having today. She'd gotten up, gone for a quick run, showered, and then...her brother had been acting weird. She put it aside though. Whenever she was angry about anything, she just channeled it on the field. It was why she was a star player...she had a lot of aggression. But with her channeling it into sports, she could be much more pleasant to be around off the field. She wouldn't let a weird feeling bother her.

She headed toward her first class. Zoe was also competitive in the classroom. The entire Meadows family was competitive, and it worked for her. As she walked, she was suddenly stopped by one of those Goth girls. "I know you..." the girl said, sounding confused.

"Well, I don't know you," Zoe responded. "And I have to get to class."

"There is something wrong...wrong with you, wrong with everything. I've been feeling it, but I can't figure out what it is...but..."

"Are you on something?" Zoe said.

"No. I..." she rubbed her head.

Remember what Dad says, Zoe thought, Save it for the field Gary Meadows was always telling his kids that when they were disruptive at home. It didn't seem to work well with Biff though. She resisted the urge to call this weird girl a complete psycho. "I don't know what you're talking about, but...there's nothing wrong with me."

"It's her...she's like...a total freak. They all are..." a voice said from behind her. Zoe turned around and spotted another girl.

"They who?" Zoe asked.

"Goths...I mean, look at how they dress," the girl said.

Zoe didn't give a damn how Goths dressed. "No one asked you. Are you going to go bashing black students next? Maybe people like you should have their own drinking fountains."

The girl seemed taken aback by that for a moment, and slightly deflated. "What? I'm not..."

Zoe shook her head. "I'm going to class. I don't want anything of what either of you are selling." She headed off, leaving the two in the hallway.
