Just as Sarah was about to complete her wish-whatever it was meant to be-the locker room door swung open. Sarah was standing right in front of it and it smacked her good in the back of the head. She stumbled forward and the stone skittered onto the ground...directly between where she stood and where Jon and Ethel were standing.
The person who had entered the room was Ms.Johnson, the girls' gym teacher-she was shouting now about "What the hell was everyone doing in here" but Jon couldn't have cared less. He broke away from Ethel and moved as fast as he could toward the stone....
