Juggling this triple life was hard. I chose Askill Town because it was slow and we could rule over it like crime lords. The whores all found that they had double lives too. It really was a radical shift for them. Not only were they brothel owners, but now they were also all fathers. Tommy had Arminio to take the role of uncle to the kids. I did what I could, but I was also busy. Cameron and Ronan were on their own here. That was until Cameron got a call from a cousin. She informed him that his mom was on her own now that his dad passed away suddenly. Now that there was no one left, she wanted to reach out. Cameron had a biological child to give her. He was always bi even if he leaned towards guys. His mom was so surprised she practically jumped at the chance to come over to Askill and be the grandma that Ruth needed. Especially with him and work and Ruth's mom being a whore under him. That led to a bit of an awkward discussion, but she did not fuss much. She got an apartment. To have her son and granddaughter in her life, she overlooked whenever Cameron brought a guy home.
Eventually, the children all grew up to the point that they could join parties and take part in missions with us. I could take them with me for some things. I was technically a 5 star mob doctor still. Taking them on house calls and letting them help out gave them an equal share of the exp. that I had earned. I also spent time in the suites with them. Staying with Bianca meant sharing a bed. Staying with Bella meant being sent to sleep on the fancy couch they had. Either way, I got to spend the morning helping them get ready for school and welcomed them back. I could do my work on a laptop, so it was fine. That was 2 days out of their week. The other 5 were spent at home with my wife and legitimate son, Dante. I was shocked that not even children were safe from danger. I was out on a mob doctor job trying to save a Red Ray member's life. The thugs who did it came back to finish the job. They shot at us from their car. One of their bullets hit Dante. I was right there, so he did not die. He lost an eye from the battle though. I made sure to hunt and kill every person involved. They did not die well.
Dante losing his eye was a shock to everyone. Tommy, Asella, Ronan and Cameron were besides themselves with worry. They had also been bringing their children on certain jobs. It was easy for the whores as they were just doing bribes and shady deals with other officials in the town. We would really have to reassess the path we were putting them on. Nicolò, Araldo and Bernardo did their best to cheer Dante up. It seemed to work. Daphne was very upset. So was her family. They blamed me for it happening to him. I did not see how that could be the case. I was doing a doctor run at the time. It was a far cry from a assassination. I would definitely be more careful from now on though. I kept debacle this from Bianca and Bella. There really was no need to startle them. It was already handled. It could also make them more reluctant towards me training Marco, Rocco and Carlo. I wanted them to focus on being mob doctors personally. It would be like they were following in my footsteps. Being a good trio of conmen could be a side hustle for them too. The sky was their limit with all of my kids.
