“Where are we going?” Jon asked as Sarah led him into a building across the street from the frat party.
“My dorm.” Sarah said matter of factly. She was leading him up some stairs when she said, “you are strangely okay with this. You know that right?”
“I do and it’s weird but I wouldn’t fit very well into that party if I was freaking out or not letting you drag me to your door to do a cliche makeover.”
“Hey,” Sarah replied with what Jon could tell was a false air of being offended. “My makeovers aren’t cliche…” Sarah paused, “it is kind of scary that it can just change you and you don’t care.”
“It is isn’t it,” Jon said as Sarah stopped in front of a dorm room door in a hallway of many. Sarah pulled up the edge of her skirt revealing a short pair of yoga shorts underneath, from which Sarah procured a key.
“Those have pockets?” Jon asked.
“They do it’s great,” Sarah said before looking back at him more thoughtfully. “Welcome to the female world. Pockets are extraordinary.”
“Great,” Jon grumbled as Sarah pulled him into the dorm room, shutting the door behind them and leading him to stop in front of a floor-length mirror.
“Now strip,” Sarah commanded.
“Seriously?” Jon said incredulously.
“Yes, we’re both women here, and besides I don’t swing that way.” Sarah said matter of factly, “Hurry up.”
“I kind of wish you did,” Jon grumbled to himself under his breath as started peeling his clothes off. A pulse of heat a moment later was the only sign that he messed up. “Shit!” Jon exclaimed realizing what he had done. Jon looked up into the mirror, past his mostly fully clothed self to where Sarah was digging through a wardrobe.
“Is everything alright?” Sarah asked before continuing, “I know guys get weird about changing with a gay guy. Us girls aren’t quite the same but I can leave if you want me to. You were a guy 15 minutes ago.”
“W-what?” Jon replied incredulously with a hint of terror. Did he just completely rewrite Sarah as a person? She didn’t even seem to notice. She must not have heard the wish…
“I’m bi, so I can understand if you feel uncomfortable,” Sarah said.
“N-no it’s fine,” Jon replied, undressing himself with more mechanical movements as he tried to ignore the fact that he was in fact undressing in front of another woman, as a woman, after accidentally making her attracted to him. He didn’t fully succeed as his cheeks flushed. Thankfully by the time Sarah had returned to the mirror and Jon was standing in only his underwear, most of the blush had faded.
“Huh, so it changed your underwear too,” Sarah remarked looking at Jon in the mirror before looking back to the garment she was holding up in her hands.
“It did,” Jon said as he examined himself almost fully nude. All that remained was a pair of loose-fitting women's briefs and a small, uncomplicated cotton bra that, with how small his boobs were, it might be unnecessary.”
Sarah, somehow intuiting Jon’s thoughts said, “What you were hoping for something more impressive?”
“I guess,” the woman in the mirror really didn’t have much going on. She was a little chubby, less fat than Jon had been as a man, but still barely moderately attractive. Jon didn’t realize his next mistake until he had made it.
“If I am going to be a girl, I wish I wasn’t so plain. At least something more exotic.” Jon said wincing in fear as the bracelet warmed again. His eyes met Sarah’s alarmed eyes through the mirror.
“You idiot,” slipping out of Sarah’s mouth was the last thing Jon heard before the changes started.
