Sarah stepped over to Jon and punched him hard in his soft midsection. As Jon doubled over, she grabbed him by the shirt collar and shoved him against the lockers. "You stupid loser! I wished that if anyone tried to take the stone from my locker I would know about it and it would appear in my hand before anyone else could take it! Still, I am grateful to Ethel for all the help."
Jon's eyes went wide with shock, as the transformed Karyn lumbered into view. She looked guilty and ashamed as she said "I'm sorry, Jon. But...you have to understand my point of view. Look at what she's already done to me - heck, to all of us! If your plan failed, she'd just make it worse! I...I just couldn't risk that. Please...don't be mad."
Then she turned to Sarah and begged "And Sarah...please don't hurt him too much. He...just doesn't understand that you're in charge now."
Sarah looked pleased at Karyn/Ethel's groveling attitude, and said "Oh, don't worry about it, Ethel. In fact, I'm going to reward you for your loyalty. First...I wish you'd stop fighting the changes I made in you and just blindly accept every aspect your new life..."
Karyn looked stunned by the words for a moment, but then her broad mouth set into a contented smile. Sarah handed her a box of candy, and Karyn's smiled grew larger, as she took the box and began stuffing the candy into her mouth.
"Gee, Karyn...you're making a real pig of yourself." Sarah said in mock surprise.
Karyn smiled, saying "I can't help it, Sarah. Heck, I don't want to help it. Fat girls like me always eat like this. I just LOVE being obese. And please...call me Ethel. That's a much better name for me."
Sarah gloated over the ponderous, unfettered glutton he'd transformed Karyn into. Ethel continued to stuff her mouth with candies, noisily sucking excess chocolate off her thick fingers. Anyone reading Ethel's mind would find that she was absolutely delighted with her appearance. She remembered her life as Karyn, but had no desire to ever be that skinny girl again. She knew that life as Ethel would be wonderful.
"There. That should keep you nice and happy. Now for you, Jon. I wish..."
