”Finally!” Jo crested the final hill between her and the house the her father had designed. ”It’s beautiful...” She said as her body filled with emotion while she coasted down the hill towards home. Thoroughly exhausted from a 6 hour bike ride and consumed with emotion at the sight of home, Jo’s eyes began to fill with tears of joy. ”Thank god I made it back...” Jo wiped a tear from her eye as she approached the driveway. ”Dad’s not home!” Jo shouted in her head as she began to weep tears of joy.

Coming to a stop at the mouth of the driveway, Jo took a minute to try and compose herself. ”Pull it together girl.” Jo told herself as she stood there straddling her bike starring at her home. ”It’s not over yet. You still have to get your stone back...” Jo’s internal monologue attempted to coax Jo into moving, but she couldn’t bring herself to do anything other than drink in the sight of the beautiful home that her father had designed. “I love you dad... I love you mom... I love you Zoe...” Jo whispered as images of each of her family members streamed through her head.

Jo took a deep breath and lifted her aching leg up and over her bike. ”Okay... Back to work.” Jo told herself as she pushed the bike off into the grass on her way around the house. Making sure to stay out of the range of the doorbell camera’s trigger, Jo snuck behind her house and leaned her bike up against the large tree in her backyard. “Please be there.” Jo said as she began to climb up the small ladder into the tree house her father had built for her and Zoe. Opening the door in the floor of the tree house Jo was immediately hit by a familiar smell that triggered memories of her childhood. “No reminiscing!” Jo mumbled as she walked over to a small bench and opened a little chest that sat on top of it. Inside sat the emergency key to the house. “FUCK YEAH!” Jo snatch the key from the chest, hurried down the ladder, and across the back yard to the back door of the house.

Before unlocking the door, Jo glanced over her shoulder across their back yard to the dense patch of trees that separated their backyard from the golf course. ”I’m coming for my stone Sarah.” Jo briefly felt like an action hero. ”I have a very particular skillset and I will get my stone back... O shut up and open the door.” She told herself as she shoved the key into the tumbler and unlocked the door. Not wanting to waste any time, Jo sprinted through the house and upstairs to her bedroom. ”It should be in my desk...” Jo hurried across her room to her computer desk and pulled open the large desk drawer. There sat an old Android tablet that Jo had luckily decided to not take to college. “YES!” Jo snatched the tablet and held the power button down.

As Jo waited for the tablet to boot up, the aches and pains of riding 6 hours descended onto her body. ”Hurry up...” Jo whined as she sat down on the edge of her bed. ”I can see why I left this here...” She thought as the old tablet continued to struggle to boot. While Jo waited she sat the tablet on her bed and began to stretch out her sore muscles that so badly wanted to knot up. ”I really need to hydrate...” Jo though as she felt the her calves knot up. “Hurry up.” Jo said glancing over to the tablet and then bending back over to stretch some more. As Jo stretched her eyes began to study her room. Photos on the wall... Trophies on shelves... Items in her room... Each time Jo’s eyes settled on an object it felt like she had a memory in her head about each item that was just begining to be discovered.

“Finally!” Jo exclaimed seeing the lock screen on her old tablet pop up. Snatching it off her bed she typed in her passcode and then swiped over to the app drawer. ”Hmm...” Jo had Instagram installed on her tablet, but she had deleted her account a year ago. ”I guess I’ll use Firefox...” She said opening up the browser and quickly searching Sarah’s handle that she used on Instagram, TikTok, Twitch, Twitter, and OnlyFans. ”Let’s see if she’s streaming.” Jo thought click on the Twitch link. As the old tablet struggled to load the website, Jo noticed the battery was almost dead. Not wanting to start from scratch Jo snagged a charging cable off her desk and plugged it into the tablet. ”She not online!” Jo exclaimed in her head.

Sitting down in her computer chair, Jo backed out of Twitch and opened up Sarah’s Instagram. ”Come on, load faster!” She groaned in her head as the images on the web page loaded slowly. “Bingo!” Jo said excitedly seeing a post from an hour ago. Opening up the post, Jo saw a picture of Sarah dressed in a revealing tank top and spandex shorts posing somewhere on the golf course. The long rambling caption mentioned that she was just starting an afternoon round of eighteen. ”She’s probably still on the course!!!” Jo’s eyes skimmed the rest of the caption, but it was nothing but promos for energy drinks, clothing, and supplements.
