Glowies had meditation classes as part of their routine. They had the full weekend to practice with their internal thoughts and emitting their pulses. When they got in the mock cockpit for the simulation, both already knew what they were going to do. It did not even need to be said. Oliver was going to be the Top and Nao was going to be the Bottom. Once their visors flipped on, they were in yet another room. "Let me get on the bed first. It takes me a bit to get to my max with my Black Pulse." Nao warned as he stepped forward. Oliver was confident that it would not take long to get his White Pulse ready. Nao got into position. Instead of facing away from the blond boy, he was looking directly at him. Nao winced when he saw the confusion on Oliver's face. "Sorry. I don't like people staring at me when I can't see it. You can climb up behind me when I'm done." he apologized. It did not matter to Oliver. His White Pulse was 80. As long as Nao could manage 22, he would then be able to synchronize fully with him. Nao groaned as he said "Almost... there..." It had been 3 minutes when his suit had left.
Nao had improved and made it to 51. That was just enough to lose the suit. Oliver had also gotten better. His White Pulse was now 82. He wasted no time at all climbing on the bed behind Nao. Oliver could see his goal: the other boy's perky butt. Just between his cheeks was a dark shadow. That was the Black Pulse being emitted by Nao. Now that they were above the recommended level for their pulses. All Oliver had to do was connect his White with Nao's Black. Oliver and Nao both moaned as they connected for the first time. Their synchronization was complete. "I can... feel you... inside of me... Oliver-kun!" Nao panted. Oliver rubbed his Bottom's back gently to soothe him. He had finally found his partner. Oliver wanted him to be as comfortable as possible. That kept the link stable. Oliver could feel Nao's body relax in his own mind. When time time had elapsed, they both smiled. Kyo and Rinto had proved that they were able to be Switch Glowies. When Rinto was the Top, their average was 54. When he was Bottom, it shot to 61. It was low, but promising as both were Switches.
Having Nao as a partner was great for Oliver. He did not have to deal with complaining about being the Top. Their average together was 67. If they continued to practice a bit more, it would not be hard to get to the median range of pilot luminescence. Kazumi and Sei were unable to synchronize. Both were too stubborn and refused to even attempt to be the Bottom. Side by side, it looked like Kazumi was the better Top, but only by 4. Thursday was the same. The instructors had to pull them aside and remind them what was at stake. This was done by yelling in their faces. They both were in serious danger of being transferred away from the base. Once that happened, they would only have 3 more chances before being dropped from the Pilot Program. For some reason, Kazumi was made to be Bottom. He got to 34 on his first try. It was not looking too good. Sei was still stuck in the high 40s as a Top. That was when Kazumi bribed Oliver.
