Jesse looked disappointed In order to pilot, the average of the pulses had to be over 50. Neither his not Henry's level was not enough to do that at the moment. Not even close to it. Henry's White Pulse was unable to even leave the suit. To reach the required pulse average of 51, they had to add to at least 102. It was a tall order for a first try. That was why many recruits failed on their first couple of attempts. With Jesse's just decent Black Pulse holding steady at 53, they needed a decent White Pulse. A bellow average 49 or more was needed here. Henry looked really disappointed as he sighed in defeat. He deflated a bit as he could not manage it. He did not want to be a Top anyway. "Fine. I have to get this to go further first." He was having trouble to get the erection to grow. Jesse shoved him on the bed in annoyance after a minute had passed. Henry was just hovering at 45 now. The fact was that he was emitting a weak White Pulse. "Hurry it up already!" Jesse demanded. Henry looked very upset as well. "I-I'm trying! It just won't go up anymore!" he snapped. Suddenly, his pulse skyrocketed.

At first, Henry could not believe it. He had only needed a 49. With a 66, their connection would be stable. It would technically be considered low, but as recruits, that was fine. Not much was really expected for them. He was going to move closer so he could mount Jesse when he felt something well up from within him. It felt like and orgasm rocked through his whole body. When it was over, a sticky white fluid was all over Jesse's back and ass. It also had obliterated Henry's White Pulse. It was now at an impossibly low 3. Jesse jumped up from the bed. Apparently, it was hot. "Ow! What the fuck was that, man!" he yelled as he reached behind himself to swipe it off of his body. By the time Jesse was able to get back into the proper Bottom position, all of their time had elapsed. Asking around, the technicians told him that it was a common occurrence with recruits when they tried to Top. It just so happened that the pilots just got too overstimulated. It caused them to temporarily drastically increase the White Pulse, but then collapsed as the energy was unstable. It ejaculated and was corrosive.

As a result, their first synchronization attempt was recorded as a failure. Henry was pissed off when they left the cockpit. This was not the way to get noticed by the top brass as a good Glowie. They would all have their next simulation session in the mock cockpit in 2 days. They were at the end of boot camp. Tuesdays and Thursdays were the days they had assessments. That meant they had 5 weeks to get to 5 good synchronizations. It was not like they were the only ones to fail on the first session however. The team of Kurt and Brett also did not get an average of 50. Brett knew that he should be a Bottom. He actually had a decent Black Pulse of 47. Kurt made it to 38 with his White Pulse. Their efforts only averaged to 43. Not good enough to pilot the Shine. Ace and Bradley were friends from the same neighborhood. It was cool that they trusted each other and helped each other reach the goal. Both of them only made it to 39 though. Ace was Top and Bradley was the Bottom. They planned to switch roles on Thursday's test. If it worked, they could be together. If it failed, they would be 0-2.
