Helping out on this would further the aims of the church. With enough momentum, we might be able to supplant the cyborgs as the dominant force on the continent. That would not be too hard. Having access to magic put us a cut above the other humans here. We were all pure flesh and blood aside from the cyborg faithful. Hackers could not affect us and the AEP units were too strong for that. PEA units would kill them before the hacker had the chance to manipulate them. We certainly could take on lower level cyborgs with our magic and other abilities. With modern guns and tech, we could take on the others as well. The problem was that we were mostly NPCs. If it did not go well, we would spiral out. When they died, they were not coming back. All of the cyborgs followed the progenitors due to their core programming. Nothing we said or did would change that fact. Cyborgs would choose them over the foreign religion every single time. If they had to choose. That was also a big problem for us. We could cross that bridge when we got to it. I would need to find a design before I got Paul or Brett.
It would have to wait. There was a buzz in the Main Hall. No one was answering it even after a full minute. That was annoying. I had to go check and see who it was. The intercom showed me who it was. It was another big PEA unit. He looked and acted innocently while he talked to me. He perked up visibly when he heard my voice. He wanted to speak to me outside for a moment. It was just like the first guy. I smiled wide and said "Okay. I'll be right out." I know that I could handle a PEA unit like him on my own. I took a handgun that shot radioactive bullets to add some challenge. I grinned and went up the elevator. He smiled at me and asked me to follow him to the back of the depot lot. Cars obscured the view of those in the dispatcher booth. I looked at him and asked "How many missions have you completed now?" He puffed out his chest, just like the one before him. "This one is my 17th meeting." he said. "Wow. That's really impressive." I praised. He nodded his head happily. "Now I have you to help me with this mission he said." he said. It was time to get it over with. "What is your mission?"
A smirk crossed his face as he came closer to me. "Let's talk about that later. From what I've read about you, you like having sex with various units like me." he said, fully keeping direct eye contact with me as he said it. That caught me off guard. "I guess that being an amazing clan engineer comes with many benefits. What does that have to do with anything?" I asked as I took a flustered step back. It was then that he looked me up and down. I did not know if I liked how he was looking at me. "Want to try me for a bit?" he said as he walked closer to me. We were chest to chest. I saw that he had a hoop earring in one of his ears. "I thought they did not want you to use any augments. Doesn't doing that make you a deviant?" He chuckled at me. "As a clan engineer, you should know by now that our labs have regeneration pods. I can take it off at any time and heal my ear back to normal after this mission." he explained. I tried to push him away from me. He was getting too close for comfort. He just grabbed my hand and licked my finger instead. That got me hard. Damn. I was totally sold on the idea now.
