One task for the Diamond Butterflies was complete. The second and third tasks were about using my skills as a doctor. First, the son of a racket owner in the Red Light district was deathly ill. I spent a week treating him like Emilio did for Camelia. After the week, he was fully cured. I did not receive a party as thanks. This owner was not a made gangster. I was written a letter from the kid. That was cute. Then a very profitable whore overdosed on a bad batch of drugs. It was not a loss they were willing to take. I personally would not either. The whore was taken to me and I revived her. Both her and the owner of her brothel were very thankful. The next job was another hit. A guy that was employed by the faction as a band member was getting some cold feet after witnessing something he should not have. Apparently, he was hanging around cops and other informants too much lately. I was to tie up a loose end. I took that job. I watched him at the speakeasy he preformed at. He played piano. I then followed him home. When he tried to get inside his apartment, I gunned him down. He was totally unarmed.
Personally, meeting with the lieutenant was a real trip. Nicola Bamonte was his name. He had a half-brother named Ezio. I was asked to meet them at a speakeasy. Ezio ran it. Nicola wanted to have a very discreet meeting so that I could look at him and he could figure out if he wanted to be associated with me. I was a known bisexual because this district was where my main base of operations were. Ezio wanted to have a really big party. The reason was simple: he was simply bored. He was of mixed descent. His father was a made gangster of the proper ethnicity, but the mom was a mistress of a different ethnicity. That was why he had a different eye color. It was a dull gray. When I arrived, I was brought to the bar. I spoke to both of the brothers. Nicola was cautious and trying to keep things close to the vest. Ezio kept undercutting him by blurting out what the older brother wanted to keep hidden. That was something I would have to keep in mind for later. I was celebrated by those in the bar. Lots of people in the speakeasy were gang members that already knew my exploits. Nicola was angry.
