02 and Shepard launched successfully. We instructed them to go straight up. They were going to where the other 4 were waiting. It took them about 11 minutes to find all of the others and get into the proper position. By then, the cooldown for the launching pad was done. They were already getting Tammy and Alan ready to strap into the hooks. Alan had been given the weapons upgrades and golden nanites while we were fighting the military. He was a guest and crucial to the mission, so they all were not allowed on ground level during the battle. Tammy led Alan over and walked him through the process. That was what was reported to me by Zayne. I shrugged. It was too late to do anything about it now. Alan was an AEP unit from Sonic Clan, so it was fine if he was more powerful. They launched and went straight up. They were just able to dodge a massive missile aimed at them as they made the climb to escape the planet's dense atmosphere. Once they reached the others, it was time the end stage of their coalition. We had beat this stage of the game. We all won. There was a problem though.

None of us had the authority to actually tell them to make the portal. The only one who could do that was the leader of the coalition. That was the leader of Sonic Clan. If she was here, things would be so much easier. She was still guarding the sonic transmission hub and under siege. They all were pinned down tight by the military exactly because she was the leader. The situation was thus: unless she could make it over to a command center in a functioning hangar, the XX-frames could not complete the coalition's mission. It was very annoying in my opinion. The only one functioning in coalition control was ours. Wind Clan and Void Clan had enemy command centers. I bet that those could work, but those would be guarded to the death by both the military outside and the confederacy itself inside. We would have to break the huge siege around Sonic Clan. From there, would would have to get the leader all the way back to Dwan Town and into the command center. This was a hassle. Luckily, we were all strong. Paul, Brett and I recruited 3 PEA units and went out as a single squad in a green van.

We let 2 of the PEA units up front to drive the vehicle. This task needed precision and accuracy on the road. Paul had spawned it in the back of the cab depot. It was a large armored van with a mounted machine gun turret with a nasty belt fed clip of incendiary rounds up top. The third PEA unit was in the ready position for the turret. He looked really determined to earn his place in a clan. I wished him good luck. The cyborg was going to need it with everything we were going to be doing. Paul, Brett and I were in the back. All 3 of us were going to get out the back and gun down whoever we were up against when we arrived. The military had not had a chance to regroup in the town yet. That meant that we were able to leave unopposed. When we got on the open roads, things would pick up. They would be desperate to stop us and take custody of the Sonic Clan leader and destroy the coalition. It would not be that easy for them with all of us there. Even if she died, the coalition would simply elect a new leader. It would most likely be the leader of Cold Clan. They were in the chief of security role.
