Brett looked them over and seemed to think about it. The general and I were flabbergasted with him. He was never the type to take the setting too seriously, but this was insane. Both AEP units were frowning. It was clear they did not appreciate being under the appraising gaze of a human. Brett eventually just shrugged his shoulders. He said "Hmm... I don't know. Conqueror AEP units play a little too rough for me. I don't think I'm in the mood for that." I put my face in my hands and groaned. "You know what, you can talk to the general and get lectured at. I'm done." I said as I passed them and left the main hall. I went to the PEP lab to sit and relax for a bit. That literally only lasted for a minute before I heard gunshots. I shot up to my feet and ran towards the sound quickly. I was pissed off. When I made it back to the main hall, I saw the general and commandos shooting at Wind Clan. They were fighting back. "What the fuck is going on in here!? I leave for 1 minute and you start making noise! I want to fucking relax!" I screamed. They turned to face me. Brett was smirking. "Welcome back Brianne."
I shot him a venomous glare. He simply raised his hands in surrender. The general said "Brett is an idiot. And insane. I'm going to save the world from these cyborgs and aliens, with or without you guys." I sighed as Brett gave him a cold look. "PBJ Clan has a non aggression pact with them. The only reason they are still alive right now is because they let 02 and Shepard go. You can try to arrest or kill them all you want, just do it outside away from us." I said to him clearly. He gave me a dark look before turning his gun on me. "Looks like I was wrong about you. Even humans working for clans need to go." He and his men then went hostile to me and Brett. We killed them near instantly. We were just that strong compared to them. I walked over to the now dead general slowly. "Fuck. Things are going to get harder for the coalition now." I said. Keeping the general on our side was the only thing keeping the government from raiding and trying to kill us all on a daily basis. The leader of Wind Clan sighed. It was not his day. His stomach and arms were bleeding blue where he got shot. "Follow me." I said.
We brought them all down to the labs. It made no sense not to patch them up. The 2 AEP units got to get their weapon upgrades. We did not let them receive any golden nanites. That would just be stupid. While they were doing that, I had to make some important phone calls. The first one was to 02. He answered immediately. "Brianne! It is crazy over here. Wind Clan captured us and held us hostage. They then let us go a few minutes ago." he said angrily. I nodded and began explaining what happened with us. "Why did you go to the Foundry over there? The one in the desert would have been much better. It is in coalition territory." I asked. There was a pause on the other end of the line. "... I don't like Advocates." 02 mumbled. It made me chuckle. "What's so funny Brianne!?" he demanded. "You really screwed up. That's okay. You 2 can continue to the Foundry. Nothing has changed with your mission. Is Shepard okay?" I instructed him. Shepard then spoke on the phone to me. He fought as long as he could, but the car was totaled and 02 was captured by others. He was scared but got through.
