Michelle and Rachel arrived home after a mostly quiet trip. When they got home, Michelle went straight to her room and was about to put on the necklace when Zoe came in.
"Mom brought me to some kind of doll camp, where we get made up to look like dolls each day. I see she got creative with you too. Although, my experience ended when we left. What happened to you?"
"Apparently, whatever they were doing to us needs time to go away"
"Well, maybe you at least won't to deal with Mother Nature's gift for a bit. Good luck squirt," said Zoe before leaving the room.
"I'm definitely not having any periods or pregnancy, mumbled Michelle as she turned back into Mikey, with the baby bump going away. He breathed a sign of relief as his penis came back. Looks like he was going to be Mikey for the summer. Diane was over later that day to enjoy dinner with the family. She asked about the camp, which Rachel said was great while Mikey just shook his head. Diane got the full update and asked to see Michelle just once. Mikey reluctantly removed the necklace, and Diane touched the bump.
"How is it being pregnant? It's weird asking your boyfriend that question..."
"I feel like a cow learning to walk," replied Michelle before she put her necklace back on. Mikey spent a far amount of time the next week with Davis, driving to movies, the pool and just hanging out. There were dates with Diane too. When they were intimate, he made sure to wear a condom even though she was on birth control. Apparently he something did stick at the camp. Rika got back from camp. Mikey went over with Davis. Rika said the rest of the week wasn't any better, and the contractions were horrific. Apparently, the pregnancy ended at the equivalent of crowning. She said it was enough to make sure she never had sex again as a girl. Davis just smirked at Rika, who blushed. A split second later, the 3 friends were rolling around laughing.
The 3 amigos were back together, and enjoying summer as best the could when they had summer jobs, with Rika working remotely for Nintendo and Mikey working for his dad. Davis was working at the autoshop. About once a week, he would be Michelle to see what the damage was. Fortunately, it seemed like the magic was waning, as was his pregnant belly. A couple weeks before going to Yale, Diane begged Mikey to be Michelle for the girl scout annual summer camping trip. As it had been several weeks, Michelle agreed. It was nice to catch up with her friends and make sure they put on the necklaces. Over a campfire, they talked about their big plans for freshman year, and also how they would miss eachother. There was a lot of hugging during and at the end of the trip.
About 1 week before going to college, Rachel told Mikey and Zoe that she was expecting and was due in about 7 months. Mikey winced, thinking about to the offhand comment his mom made when they left camp. Apparently, his parents weren't going to be empty-nesters after all.
Just before Rika went off to RPI, Diane, Mikey, Davis and Rika talked about the necklaces. They quickly agreed that the main one should go with Mikey and Diane, while the child would go with Rika. Davis hadn't become Davonne since Rika's graphic description of labor, and felt like no amount of money was worth risking that. Rika left with her parents the next day, with the Diane and Michelle going to Yale the following day. The girl scouts and Deerfield crew checked in saying they all settled in, ready to take on their first years of college
