Bill quietly walked towards her school…

She was a girl…

Awkwardly tall, rather beautiful, with illustrious dark hair and just a little too ‘busty’- something she was trying her best to ‘dress’ for.

The new girl had to quickly get rid of that horrifying ensemble of clothing that those little imps had given her and tried to wear something a more conservative set of clothing. Unfortunately, the imps had completely altered her wardrobe. The best she could find was a rather low cut T-shirt and tight hugging jeans. At least she got to wear her trainers, even if they were a rather odd shade of feminine light purple.

She still had yet to learn about all the demons… how many there were, what they were all about. She Bill had this vague recollection of a … a spell. The demons were linked to her, perhaps even part of her. Her nature and soul? Fragmented… split apart? Though if that ‘was’ the case, then she certainly didn’t want to become ‘whole’ again.

The demons were apparently ‘invisible’ to normal people, from what she could tell… so just herself and the magical girl could see them- perhaps other beings touched by magic. Bill really hoped she wouldn’t see them cause too much mischief as she had no way to control them…

…Apparently, they had always been around though, causing chaos and trouble for mortals… and from what she could tell, they seemed to be mostly mischievous then outright hostile. Again, she suspected it was because they had been split apart too from the ‘greater whole’ that they were all once were. She had to find a way to reign them in though chaos was their natural state of being. “I’ll have to put some rules on them,” She thought. She wasn’t sure she could stop their nature completely, but perhaps she could avoid them causing too much trouble.

“Hey Bree!” A girl called over waving to her outside the school gates.

Billy glanced around and it took a moment to realise that the girl was addressing her. Wait- that was Shawn?! ‘And I’m Bree?’ The tall woman stared a bit at the new girl Shawn had becone, confused at what she was seeing. The nerdy guy had ended up rather… cute. Soft blue eyes and twin trails of blonde hair. She was a little on the short side, which certainly contrasted to Bree’s imposing size. “Uh- Hi… um… Sally?” she queried helplessly.

“Ha! You’re funny. You know my name is Shelly. Short for Michelle. I always liked you calling me Shelly.” She put her hands on her hips as if to really show her indignation. “You look great! How was it being a guy? I’m so curious!”

Bree gave a slightly haunted look, though perhaps it came across as rather dark and foreboding… which made Shelly squeal with delight.

“Hehe- you did stuff didn’t you… I mean I can guess!” Shelly seemed really into the idea of knowing what it was like to be a guy. She really had no memory that she had been one yesterday.

Bree folded her arms awkwardly under her bust, causing her large chest to rise softly in the low cut top. “It’s- not of your concern!” Bree clenched her fists inwardly. How was she going to convince Shelly that this wasn’t her! That neither of them was… that this was all some weird crazy mixed up situation.

Shelly just continued to smile as she walked with Bree. “You seem so tense. I guess even a day as the wrong gender can be weird. If you need anything I’m happy to help!” She quickly offered. “It’s a bit weird I had no idea changes in gender could happen.”

“Yeah… really weird…” Bree wasn’t sure what help Shelly could be, but at least her heart was in the right place. She was just outside the loop though in the whole ‘truth’ of the universe. There was nobody that could help her…

Then she felt a slight tension. The police detective who had talked to her as Billy was waiting by the gates. Wha the heck did he want! ‘Relax, he probably doesn’t even remember you…’ She smiled sweetly at that thought. Maybe a reality shift wasn’t so bad. She walked gently passed him.

“Hey miss,” The detective suddenly called. “Mind if we have a little chat? I think there’s some stuff I’d like to know.”

Shelly looked to Bree concerned. “Hey, she’s had a hard day mister.”

The man gave a courteous nod. “Oh I know... The whole changing gender thing, I know it happens. I wanted to find more information on how it happened. Mind if we talk in private?”

Bree glanced to Shelly. “It’s okay, you go on I’ll talk to him.”

“You got rights you know. You don’t have to say anything…” Shelly quickly whispered.

“I didn’t do anything it’ll be fine.” Bree sighed. “Just go on, I’ll talk to him…”

Bree was now with the detective, alone outside the school. She was rather cautious, and not knowing what the reality of the situation was… given ‘reality’ had changed, she was a bit unsure on what to say that won’t put a spotlight on her. ‘In the old reality he suspected me of running from the class… when everyone else swapped genders. Though now I’m the only one who swapped gender if just for a day…’ she quietly evaluated that. ‘Yet in this reality apparently that’s just something that ‘happens’? Thanks to the imps no doubt…

That was a lot to keep track of. She hoped she could change back to normal soon…

The detective paced around Bree seeming to look her over. “I suppose I should introduce myself. I’m known as Detective Race Marsh. I suppose you could call me a… bit of a Watcher of events,” he smiled kindly.

Bree glanced around. “…oh. Just what would a ‘Watcher’ want with me?”

“Well, you gave me permission to look into your past. See, the thing is, someone like me can’t do that without permission, so I’m very glad you did that. I looked so very deeply… so… very thoroughly… to the point before you were even ‘born’ all the way to a previous life. I know things about you, that you don’t know…” The detective gently said as his eyes gave a brief shimmer of dark light.

Bree raised her eyes suddenly concerned though dared not to show any fear. “… Just what are you?”

Boppi at this point made herself known, residing as she did somewhere on… Bree’s person. This time somewhere in her bag. ‘Let me handle him my Queen! I’ll see to it he won’t do anything!’

Bree gently grabbed Boppi- and smothered the imp-girl between her hands. ‘Shh’ she insisted… she had to keep the imp quiet. ‘Urgh I’m gonna regret this…’ She slipped the demon underneath her low cut top, casually making it look like she was just giving a rather ‘feminine’ pose. The demon of course, was delighted to be in her favourite spot. “So heavenly!” She giggled.

The detective seemed not to notice. “Like I said, I am here to watch… observe… at least at this stage. Consider me your probation officer if that helps,” he chuckled.

“…just what the heck are you!” Bree suddenly exclaimed. This was not a ‘normal’ detective. Not at all…

“…someone who carries messages sometimes… but I do have a sense of justice, hence my current line of work… that’s all you really need to know.” The detective explained leaning back on the wall. “Your reincarnation has ‘unsettled’ some people. You broke the rules. Cosmic rules… you always break the rules…”

“…I don’t even remember it.” Bree said softly. “Whatever justice you’re talking about is unfair to me!” A dark aura softly radiated from her body. Bree could see this detective’s light… his soul. ‘Banish him… send him away… he is a nuisance… a distraction…’

The detective gave a slight grin. “Justice comes in many forms my dear… and it catches up with us all, eventually…” He sighed. “Look… I just wanted to warn you. You’re gonna have magical girls after you. Your kinda stuck with that given you are a force that destroys reality. I ain’t able to hold that back… and if you cease to be, there’s not gonna be another reincarnation for you, I’ll see to that… You got that?”

“…I… guess.” Bree wasn’t even sure how to handle the fact she was reincarnated once anyway and having this casual conversation about it.

“Good… Have a good day ma’am…” The detective began to walk away before turning around. “Oh- just one more question…” He gave a faint smile. “You are a uniquely powerful woman. Maybe there’s a magical girl life in your future eh?” He winked. “Just saying!”

Bree didn’t know what to say to that. She had to get to class anyway. The ‘Cosmic detective’ or whoever he was started to walk away again, and at least it gave her some peace of mind that he wasn’t able to actually ‘hurt’ her. Though she wondered what complications that entity would bring…

“…just messages,” She thought. “Hardly useful ones. Magical girls are coming after me… that’s not exactly uncommon anyway for a villain…”

She had to set up a meeting with the imps… she sensed something though… something or someone… the tall woman glanced upwards sensing the darkness…

..and Boppy Squeezing on her boob. “Urgh- Boppy- really not now.” She pulled her off there and put her back in the bag. “Let’s set up a meeting with all of you…”

“Yes mistress! I’ll gather them forth!”
