Karyn Calls

Jon woke up in the middle of the night to his phone ringing. He saw it was Karyn and answered the phone. “Hello?” “Jon, what the hell did you do?!” “What are you talking about, it’s almost 1?” “ Oh I don’t know, maybe the fact that I’m nearly 9 feet tall! I know it has to be you and your stupid rock!” Jon pulled the phone away from himself and thought “So that’s what my wish did.” He picked up the rock. “I wish Karyn wouldn’t think that her growth spurt had anything to do with the stone. I wish that she wouldn’t think to ask me to wish her back to her normal height” He thought of the second wish because he wouldn’t be able to reverse his wish. He brought the phone back up to his ear. “I’m sorry, tell me again what happened.” “I told you, I went to bed at 10, 3 hours later, my feet got cold so I woke up to find that they were over the end of my bed. I don’t know what to do.” “Hang on I’ll stop by in the morning before school. Just get some rest.” “OK Jon, good night.” “Good night.”
