Paul and Brett had enough children running around out there of age to become full clerics in the church. They would be the ones to do the ceremony. Something that we could not get them to budge on was the matter of newer members of the faith needing to go on conversion quests. To be fair, we Players had to go on a large questline to join. Ursula and Magnetic 04 were no exception. That meant that we would need them both to convert. I had my way to contact her. Cameron had her number. Once we explained everything to her she was all for it. While religious, it was not like she had a firm allegiance to a certain denomination. She just believed in god. When she heard that she would not be forced to change her lifestyle much and it was at least tolerant of cyborgs, she was ready to convert. Magnetic 04 was willing to do anything if it meant he could get her pregnant. Even if it meant converting. They came down and got a task they had to complete as a couple. I did not ask what it was. That was none of my business. They completed it and both became members. PBJ Clan all converted.
We had lots of members. We also had a PEA lab filled with units that had nothing to do. We sent 20 of them to the church. They could convert and become a big paladin company. They were able to complete their tasks and the martial prowess set them above all the human paladins from the start. Healing magic did not affect them, but they could heal humans. They also were able to use offensive magic after learning prayers and training how to be good warriors in the eyes of the god of the sky. Those were not the only conversions either. Lightning Clan had their compound in the desert. The members were curious about the green grass and trees growing in the middle of the desert. When they heard what the church was about, half of them converted. Advocate clans too. It was a pleasant surprise for the clergy. Their faith was actually spreading and they were gaining members. With that out of the way a final date was set for the marriage. People and cyborgs from all over the continent would be travelling to the church. It was made big enough to fit everyone and more. It was a nice day.
