The Radiation transmission hub was hosted in Noita Town, a small former mining town for cobalt in the interior of the continent. Their base was a mechanic shop. When in their shop, the syndicates they pissed off ravaged them with tons of evil badass assassins and goon driveby shootings. Because we had the testimony from 09-003, the coalition was able to confirm the location and the army did as well. Because of this, we were able to confirm the mechanic shop was unoccupied. The secret passage to the crucially important transmission hub underneath was not found by the local cops when they did the initial investigation. They did find lots of blue blood, but no bodies were found. The general was able to pull rank on the local police department. It was a comfy small town. When the military pulls up, people listen. They had also been terrified from the sudden onslaught of violence in their local community. Submitting to a week long curfew from 8pm to 8am made sense to them. The general then got in contact with the leader of Sonic Clan. It was time to go in. Everyone was going to go in.

Like I had proposed to the coalition, each constituent member clans had a representative AEP unit to go and hack the transmission hub. There were 3 big military officers and researchers going down with them. I was going to be there to help hold the line when the PEP and PEA units came to try to save the hub. When everyone got there the day of the raid, we were surprised. The mechanic shop was in full operation with 10 new PEP units. They looked really smug about everything too. I had to go in with the general and the head researcher. We asked them where they came from. "Oh, you know how it is. Lots of people have being coming around and causing trouble in the town. Since the mechanic shop was closed for so long, we just decided to step up and help out." said the new "lead" mechanic. "Uh huh." I said, looking around. "Are you going to be here for the foreseeable future?" the researcher asked him. He looked him up and down. "I think we will be here all night." he said seriously. "What about the curfew?" Smiling, he replied "Even at night. We have something to protect." That was that.

We all left after that. "They were all PEP units in there. You two realize that, right!?" Both of them looked at me. The general looked less surprised than the researcher. It was probably due to battle sense. "How do you know that!?" the researcher asked me. I tapped my left eye and said "I can just tell. Comes with living with them for so long." It was actually true in a way. "That is going to be a problem here. That's 10 hostiles that will be refusing to give in without a fight." the general said. I shrugged. "It is like I said. The transmission hub is onto us. I wouldn't be surprised now if the region's safehouse is overflowing with cyborgs to ambush us." The general looked at me and asked "What would you suggest?" There was nothing I could come with. "There's really nothing for it. All we need to do is just roll in at 8 o'clock. We will play it by the book. Ask them to leave. They won't. We go in and kill them. That gives us the legitimacy to search until we find the way down to the transmission hub." I told them. Then it was time to wait. It was only 2 in the afternoon. "The military is going to work overtime now."
