2 minutes earlier:
Karyn really liked the new Jon. She didn't want him to change back. And she was sure that Jon would eventually come around if he... or rather now she, just gave it a chance. But Karyn remembered how easily she had gotten out of her original mistaken wish, just by wishing that the changes to her body would only stay in effect for as long as she wanted them to. Technically that meant that wishes could be undone in a way that wasn't actually inconsistent with the original wish, simply by retroactively specifying that they had a time limit.
So it was time for some tough love. She'll thank me later, once she understands it's better this way, she just doesn't know what's best for her right now, Karyn thought.
As Karyn ran off with the stone, she whispered quickly, "I wish Jon would like her new body more and decide to stay a girl for the rest of the camping trip at least," and then, "I wish as long as Jon is female, she would be hot for me and be interested in doing lesbian things with me," and finally, when Jon had almost caught her, "damn it I wish I was faster than Jon!"
At first, Karyn just felt a speed boost, without realizing her body was changing, she just noticed that the distance between them that Jon had closed, was lengthening again. But she knew something was very long when her shoes got flung off her feet, as she gained new physical feelings as things became very different.
She tumbled and came to a rest.
"I wish," she tried to say, but it came out as "myaai(hisss)". She then dropped the rock, her grip on it very tenuous now. She held up a hand. It was a cat's front paw. Her shorts were all wrong, and slipped off of her. The rest of her clothes were wrong too. They were more like cloth trappings than anything else. She sloughed them off as well, as Jon approached. She looked at Jon and whined pathetically. She was so embarrassed. It wasn't her normal body, but she was very embarrassed to be seen naked by him anyway.
"Oh, no," said Jon. "You wished you could be so fast that I'd never catch you?"
Karyn nodded her head.
"Karyn, you big cheater!" said Jon. "Or should I say, you big cheetah?"
"Oa-a," Karyn whined, trying to say "oh ha ha". Actually, Karyn was glad Jon had been so close in pursuit after all. Jon had probably been just close enough to hear that I made a wish, without being actually able to make out what I said - and if she had been any further away, she would have thought I had been a cheetah all my life and wouldn't even think I had changed and probably wouldn't even think of wishing me to be human, and it would be hard to communicate to her to convince her to change me back on top of that!
Jon stood over Karyn as she looked up at her.
"I," Jon began, breathing heavily, "have an, idea." Jon didn't know what about this was so hot, why Karyn was so hot as a cheetah, but had never thought of her as anywhere near this hot any moment in his life until now, and thought that maybe she shouldn't dismiss the idea so quickly? "How about, we, we both, stay like this, for a while."
Uh oh, Karyn thought.
A suppressed smile on her face, Jon gently gripped Karyn by her shoulders, and led her to stand up on her hind legs. She would have been wobbly, if she hadn't been steadied by Jon's support. Jon held Karyn in a hug, and Karyn in turn wrapped her paws around Jon's back and started purring.
On impulse, not thinking it through or its likely consequences (she was a cheetah now after all), Karyn lifted her chin off Jon's shoulder, and kissed her on the mouth.
Jon opened her eyes wide for a moment, and then closed them, as Karyn's flat, long, extremely abrasive cheetah tongue gently wrestled with Jon's human tongue, and Karyn wrapped her tail around Jon's leg.
When it was over, they staggered back, Karyn falling to all fours.
"Wow," Jon said in a high, quiet voice.
"Meow," Karyn mewed back.
Jon walked over and picked up the rock, and said, "I wish for a pet collar that would fit Karyn, and speak out loud whatever she's thinking, but that it would be unable to activate you and therefore she wouldn't be able to use it to make a wish with you."
"awwwww," Karyn whined. Jon picked it up and Karyn raised her head as Jon fastened it around her neck.
"Oh geez Jon you're acting like I would do something malicious, I just wanted you to give it a chance and time to try to enjoy it, and then we'll have sex, oh no, no, it's reading out everything I think, I can't think anything to myself, Jon please get this thing off of me!" the collar spoke out.
"Oh ho," Jon said with a smile, "I guess the cat's out of the bag. The cat's no longer got your tongue. Do tell all, Karyn."
Karyn wasn't going to be able to help but spill the beans about everything like this!
