"Time to wake up, pumpkin. Did you have a nice nap?" A kind voice asked Jon, rousing him from sleep. He blinked awake, instantly feeling very different from how he had when he collapsed into his bed. He felt lighter, and smaller? Also he was no longer laying on his messy bed, instead being on a nice sofa, with a little pink blanket pulled over him. He swung to an upright position, long blonde hair falling into his vision as he did so and he saw the new neighbor, Emily Riley sitting on the end of the sofa, looking at him sweetly. Emily reached forward and tucked Jon's new long blonde hair behind his hair for him.
Jon looked down to discover he was wearing a little navy blue dress with white buttons, and white tights, as opposed to the jeans and a tee shirt he'd fallen asleep in. More disconcertingly, he realized his entire body had changed to that of a little girl's, specifically Stacy Riley. Jon looked up at Mrs. Riley and for a moment Jon was about to blurt out that he'd swapped bodies, but something held him back. There was no way the woman would believe him, and he didn't need to get tossed in an asylum before he could figure out what to do.
Instead, he said, "Yes," in a Stacy's voice, before hastily adding, "mommy."
Emily smiled down at her apparent daughter and pulled her up into a hug, "I'm glad! The movers finished putting all your stuff away while you were resting. Would you like to come see your new room?"
Meanwhile, back at the Gibsons, Mikey's body woke up on their own couch to the sound of Linda saying, "seriously Mikey? If you're going to take a nap, turn off the television first. Linda rolled her eyes and left the room, while a confused Stacy looked down at herself. She was suddenly a big kid, but also a boy. And why was she at the neighbor's house?
Upstairs in Zoe's room, the real Mikey was also coming to, though he was now in the body of his older sister. He stumbled to his feet, having difficulty with Zoe's black platform boots, and looked in the mirror, seeing the gothicly made up face of his sister staring back at him. "I'm Zoe?" he asked, wondering what sort of strange dream he was having.
Finally, in Jon's room, Zoe was staring at herself in Jon's camera phone, trying to fathom why she was suddenly in her dweeby older brother's body. "Jon, what did you do?" Zoe asked the air, suspecting this somehow had to be his fault.
