The little girl smiled ruefully, "Yes, Jon, it's me. As you can see I ran into a little problem with that rock. As, it seems, you have too!"
Jon nodded. "A girl called Sarah has stolen the rock and this is my punishment for telling you. We need to get the rock back so we can get all of us back to normal!"
Grandpa sighed. "I'm afraid not, Jon, you can try and sort yourself out, but I fear that I am stuck like this forever. A six-year old girl for all time. Not my first choice, but then, it is no more than I deserver for playing with powers beyond my control. I hoped you would fair better, but I see that has not been the case. It could be worse, from what you say, you will only be like that for a few weeks."
Jon nodded, shocked at his grandfather's admissions. "Yes, and that is to our advantage, now I have triggered the curse, there is nothing stopping me from going after Sarah and the rock."
"Be careful my son, you know that she has the rock and she is not afraid to use it. But you are right, we should find her and get the rock back."
Jon nodded and turned the car around. "Yes, but first, tell me how you ended up like this!"
The little girl grinned. "It's a long story..."
