"Very good, my dear," I smiled, and offered her my arm. This was going great. If I had to be trapped on a strange planet, at least I got to be with a smoking hot chick.
Dani hesitated, but accepted my arm. "Thanks again," she mumbled as I led her off into the woods. "I don't know what I'd do if you hadn't shown up..."
"You're very welcome, Dani." Okay, I thought to myself, Just keep it up and let her fall for you. I had all the time in the world, after all, not to mention the power of the rock at my disposal. "I must say, my lady, you are one of stunning beauty."
Dani swallowed, and I could see I'd made her uncomfortable. "Thanks, Jon... This cabin of yours isn't far, is it?"
"Not far at all," I assured her, trying to figure out how to make her relax. I then remembered the food. "Would you wish to stop to, uh, dine?"
Her stomach growled audibly. Dani looked at me sheepishly. "Yeah," she agreed. "Food would be good."
"Then let us sit," I declared, leading her over to a fallen tree trunk. I got out the sack and pulled out the food.
My worries that she might be a vegan were put to rest as she eagerly showed down on the chicken. "Thanshu," she mumbled out through a full mouth.
I just chuckled to myself as I snacked on the fruit, while ogling discretely. She's so hot... A stray thought went through my brain: Suppose I use the magic to turn the heat up a bit? Obviously immoral, true, but... Well, it didn't have to be too bad, did it? Just a bit of fun.
"I wish Dani can't understand me when I wish," I muttered quietly under my breath.
"What was that?"
"Oh, nothing," I smiled innocently. "Just saying a little prayer to the gods..."
