One said "As the safehouse members, it is our duty to the protect all the Sonic Clan members." I stood up and said "I, clan engineer of PBJ Clan have taken the role of chief of security for this meeting as part of an agreement. I will ensure their safety. You can wipe the computers upstairs if you want." I looked at Sonic Clan. "Looks like it's my time to shine. Continue the meeting." I saw the safehouse members go upstairs. I then took my team and they went down. We armed up and looked around. We had been given walkie-talkies the day before. "Alright PBJ Clan. What's going on!?" I asked. "Several AEP units are here. It looks like Radiation Clan." Eli said. "There are some at the VIP gate and others are causing chaos on the other floors. I could see three of them trying to blast down the gate. I walked down to them and put my hands up. "Stop! I'll let you in if you call off your other guys. The casualty count is getting too high." I told them. They looked smug and they used a communication device of their own. "Come up. We're in." one of them said. I waited until all ten of them were there.
I opened the gate. The followed me and my team up the stairs to the meeting. There were safehouse members still in the room taking my place. We entered the room. It made those that were antsy stand up in a panic. Some of them even pointed their weapons at us. "These are who were making a fuss downstairs. I decided it would be easier to just bring them here. It seems that Radiation Clan also had something to say." I announced. They all looked pretty confident. I looked at Sonic Clan. They looked totally pissed off. It was then that they members of Wind Clan stood up. "It was hard to accept a loss to Advocates after that huge battle, so when we got the invite to the meeting, we had to go. We also decided to bring Radiation Clan here as an ally." he explained. 06-001 looked at us and then to Sonic Clan. He looked a little bit apologetic. "Sorry. We hate humans. We don't want to kill them all, but they can't go around hurting and hunting us. This is war, and you guys have to go for helping them out here." I said "You don't have to do all of that." "Yeah we do." another Wind AEP unit said.
This was a really tense situation. "No. You really don't. Just calm down and wait a bit. Maybe you can join us." Wind Clan balked at the idea. They were not attacking right away though. Doing that would be dumb. I stepped forward and said "Two clans can't take on nine. Especially if the government and the syndicates also go to war with you too. You cannot hold out that long." I hoped I could reason with them. Bruce Masterson said "I really don't have time for any of this bullshit. Cubic Systems has always believed in partnering with the cyborgs to advance our greater understanding of tech and medicine. We're not suicidal though." "You guys are though. You should have realized that we're not really concerned with humans. Even the Researcher clans just want to study you and exploit you for all of your resources." a random member of Radiation Clan chirped. That was pretty true. Bruce had heard enough and looked at his goons who were ready to fight. I looked at 06-001. "Wind Clan. Are you sure about this? You know we took over Toxic Clan. The same will happen to you. Just go."
