I said "As clan engineer of PBJ Clan, and your ally, I will make sure to be there with my strongest fighters there as security to ensure that the meeting goes smoothly. You will have my word on that." All three of the investigators looked at my screen with a brief flash of panic in their eyes. "Don't worry. I'm your ally too. I won't let them bully you with their overwhelming strength." I teased. Terrance said "I think it's time that we let you go Brianne. I'm sure that you are really busy." he then reached to cut the connection. He hung up on me just like that. That was rude. I bet they really did not want me to show up at their negotiations. I wonder if they were actually going to try strong arming the soon four Advocate clans. That would be a sight to see. Heat Clan was one that I could see buckling to pressure. The Toxic Clan probably did not have the resources to resist now that they did not have the bank. It would certainly be a meeting that we would have to be there for. Obviously, Sonic Clan got back to me after they were done. They wanted our security. They wanted this meeting to be a really big affair.
Sonic Clan was the one that officially took down Toxic Clan. That gave them the right to lay claim to the leader of the Advocate delegation of the coalition. We took down the Pierce Clan and Water Clan by ourselves. That would make Cold Clan the leader of the coalition overall because they were technically our leader. This would be a big show of power for them. As Advocates they did want to work with humans. Meeting with the government would be the perfect way to start talks for when they brought their progenitors to the continent. That was the ultimate goal regardless of faction. It was up to them to plan everything. They would invite all the coalition members. The vassal clans could come too, though they would not be given a seat at the major clan table in the VIP lounge when the meeting went on. Two syndicates that were open to cyborgs cooperation and one aligned with the Advocates would be invited as well. It said nothing of them members of the government Nancy, Marion and Terrance would be able to get. Sonic Clan was inviting the local police chief and mayor there though.
The meeting would be in a month. That was more than enough time for me to make some preparations of my own. I called up Cold Clan and I asked to get me a meeting with Void Clan. "Why? Once we get over that gaudy party Sonic Clan is hosting, we will break our alliance with them." the clan leader said. He got his invite already. That made things easier. "That is why I want to meet with him PBJ Clan is doing security for the event. The last thing I need is for them to show up Volition Clan and start problems." I told him. "Conquerors lashing out in a massive tantrum... yes, that sounds like them. I will put the word out. They will meet you at the guild building, if they decided to sit across from a human, that is." he said. It took weeks to get them to the table at the guild building. All their AEP units were angry at me. They all got caught and had to use the new code to get out. None of the AEP units liked that. It was understandable enough. "What do you want, human!?" the clan leader spat. There was so much disdain in the voice it was shocking. I told them about the event. He was shocked.
Now that he was on the back foot, I said "PBJ Clan, as you know, is a force to be reckoned with. Due to our strong ties and alliance with Volition Clan, we have treated all members of Void Clan with respect and honored them. I take it as point of pride that we had allies from all three factions." "Get on with it, flesh bag!" the vice leader snapped. "We will be there to provide security to the party. I am humbly asking you not to show there. I am also asking you not to send Volition Clan in your stead." I said as I put my head down submissively. "What are you doing fool!? Sit up straight!" the leader demanded. "I will beg you not to come to the party until you agree. Please please please." I begged. If they came and saw that there was a coalition against them, they would flip out and attack. I would have to put them down then. I did not want to do that if I did not have to. Eventually, they were so disgusted and- at least some were- aroused at a human begging them to leave us alone that they agreed. I must have struck at their Conqueror programming. That was a problem taken care of. Very good.
