Tommy and the enemy were scooped up into very large plexiglass vats using industrial strength vacuums. They were going to be moved to a high security facility in a top secret location. This was a pyrric victory for Sonic Clan. I could emphasize. There were more AEP units in the clan I had not met yet, so this was not an unrecoverable loss for them in terms of assets. Still, if they were able to hack into Tommy's core systems, they might be able to find out where the Sonic Clan's transmission hub was. It would probably need to be resolved via a rescue mission. I was sure their hub was already starting it up now. This hub too seeing as a Toxic AEP was also taken. That could all wait until later. We needed to get Timmy, Tammy, and Temmy home before they got caught by these deadly commandos. I led the three of them out of the bank and down the block. Once they got in their van, I told them to leave. "You guys need to go on home. I can take care of everything else from here. I will be in touch if I find where they have Tommy." I instructed. They nodded and they drove off. They were done.
I made my way back to Terrance. He was talking to one of the commandos. "Our guys are driving back home for the night." I said. He nodded his head and said "Yeah. It is fair when we dragged them over. They all should definitely take the next week off after everything we've been through. I know I am." I nodded back and added "Me as well. With the bank cleared out like this, I think this is mission accomplished." He gave me a look. "Not until all the paperwork, including the report, is turned in and filed. I can't be bothered to do it now, but you know how this type of thing goes. You got to do it all by the book, or get the book thrown at you." he said, rubbing his temples in annoyance. "Well, same for us. We might be lucky in that our report is just a verbal debrief with out captain though." the commando said. That did sound lucky. Marion came over with a tired looking Nancy. The commando smiled and said "I'll let you get back to your thing, investigators. Keep up the good work." "You too. We could not have walked out of here without you." Marion said. The commando walked off with a nod.
We left together. The commandos were loitering outside and taking in their massive victory against the cyborg menace. That was their prerogative. Ours was getting the hell away from that place. Once we were in the car, I asked if they knew where Tommy would be taken to. "There are only three facilities that have personnel skilled and top ranked enough to handle hacking a cyborg." Nancy said. I made sure to put all three locations on my map for future reference. "I am glad that we were able to work together. You really helped us out with this, Brianne. Thank you. We would not have gotten this far without you." Terrance said. "No problem. I told you how this was all a exercise in revenge for me. I should be thanking you." I replied. "What are you going to do now!?" Marion asked me. "Take some time off. Goof around. If my clanmates haven't done it without me already, repeat this process all over again with those bastards in Water Clan." I answered. Terrance just whistled in amazement. "What about you? This massive victory is going to bring you really high when promotion time comes."
